I for one am upset that I have one less thing to criticize Walters about. 😀
-
I don't recall Tee looking particularly good but you're right on that play, it cost us a win.

So does O'Day have any worry about Solly, Hughes and Manny not being able to come back from injury/having father time catch up this season? Despite the love from the Priders that dude is not doing a good job. -

Seriously? Flutie, Moon, Lancaster, AC, Dunigan, Etcheverry, Russ Jackson, Jackie Parker and.....??? -
Lapo had a conservative offense when he was our head coach. He ran a fairly conservative offense in 2003 as our OC. It has generally been the knock on him, well that and his propensity to revert to "smartest man in the room" mode.

Always like Ricky Ray except you know when he was destroying the Bombers. -
I just want to know if Brock Ralph is ready to run a ton of jet sweeps?

The MBB All-Time Blue Bomber Team: Slotbacks
rebusrankin replied to TrueBlue4ever's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Voted for Milt, Joe Pop aka the two obvious choices. Wilcox for the third spot. Productive NI receiver for us, whom I always liked. However get the arguments for the entire list really for that third spot. -
Young receiver with upside, knowing that Bobby Gordon was 33 and I only had Bruce for one more year and all I had to do was cut Troy Mills which was a simple move since Roberts had begun to shown he could handle the lead back roll and we still had Eric Blount on the roster too, I think I would have. Fact remains Taman screwed up on this one.

Taman was an average GM, some good years, some bad years. Did some excellent work with those early 2000 teams, although how much of that was Ritchie and how much was him is up for debate. Some was luck, if I recall it was Ryland Wickman's Dad who pushed him to bring in Blink and don't forget who the QB was on that tape with Blink (who we didn't look at). Chose not to bring back Geroy in 2001 because the team was playing well and he didn't know where to fit him in (Taman has stated as much). However good trades for Dave Mudge, Doug Brown, Alex Gauthier among others. Shitty job building an OL in 2002, 2003, 2004 which led to Khari's short peak.

21 wins, 39 losses, winning percentage of .350. Horrible NI drafting. Taman has his flaws but Mack was terrible GM. I mean he was Pocchie level bad.

Is it fair to put Jade in with Addison Richards? Jade was a disappointment but he did have a 2 TD game. Richards had 1 catch and the most notable thing about him is his hair. Jade has a 2 TD game AND a Hot Mom!

Bon Jovi has got to be pissed.

By most if not all accounts that I have read Desjarlais sounds like a kid who will compete to start right from the beginning of TC. For a team that lost 2 NI OL starters that's huge imo. Kongbo and Griffiths sound like they can be rotational players on the DL this year. Add them to Jake Thomas and potentially we can fill one NI Starting spot this year. To me that's a win. Oliviera sounds like he can be a great backup to Harris this year and should allow us to reduce the wear and tear on Harris this season. All of this alone makes me wonder how people can be upset or critical of our draft.

I'm going to sum up our draft: Wait, that's not too Riderfans a statement is it?
-
I am all for other teams making "idiot picks." helps us.
-
#32 to Edmonton. If you have the #1 overall going #32 in your draft, you need a new line of work.
-
One correct choice sorta, had us taking Desjarlais at 5, we took him at 4.
-
I'm going to predict WR in round 2.
-
Love it an OL for the pipeline and a potential stud DL. Think about it though, we traded Julian Laurent (#7 last year) and David Mackie (#16 last year) for Simonise and Desjarlais.
-
Like the pick. Sanchez proves the old saying about not being proven a fool till opening your mouth and removing all doubt.
-
Desjarlais and Kongbo works for me

Wow, even better than the legendary John Hodge.
