Week of Stamps @ Bombers
Helped bring a team to two Grey Cups and was the leading receiver in both. Don't **** on Milt.

Well aware. I'm just saying Quebec would be running a deficit of roughly 10 billion a year if they didn't receive equalization payments and most of that $ comes from Alberta as Alberta is one of the few Have Provinces and the one that makes the largest contribution and Quebec still dumps on them and the Alberta oil and gas industry. So do many other Canadians and really we shouldn't.

Week of Stamps @ Bombers
So we'll all have two weeks to discuss McGuire making his first start in the WSF. Good times ahead.

So Alberta has been one of the economic engines of Canada for over 50 years. They currently are the major funder of equalization. Quebec has had economic issues for decades and is the province that receives the most in equalization, $ that if they didn't receive would mean a significant reduction in their social programs and they have the gall to dump on Alberta and its energy industry? To make it worse, you have people in the ROC, including some on this board who do the same.

I am curious if the opposition will push to have more testimony and investigation into SNC Lavelin and the Mark Norman case now that the Liberals no longer control the committees.

I agree on Ambrose and on Sheer and the 2017 CPC race. Conservatives need to pick a female leader.

Lower percentage of the vote and less seats than 2015 for Singh. That's an admirable performance? Usually that doesn't get you another shot. Conservatives likely view this as a missed opportunity, although they did gain in seats and vote percentage, so I could see Sheer getting axed. Personally I think they need to find a female leader.

So does Sheer survive as leader? Singh?

You do the the difference between a fact and an opinion, don't you? The facts are that the last Conservative government wanted to raise the retirement age and that many nations have done so due to rising costs and populations living longer (also facts). You on the other hand, blame it on governments not wanting to tax the rich, which is your opinion. Wanna B Fanboy, made a good point based on facts that they might have not had to so, if they hadn't cut the GST 2 % points which I believe led to a loss of 14 billion in revenues.

France, Germany, UK, Italy, Spain, US.

To be fair, a number of countries have raised their minimum retirement age past 65 due to increased life expectancy and rising costs.

Bench Streveler Again
I blame Trudeau. Oh wait, wrong thread.

2019 CFL Season: Around the League
I guess $450,000 is the going rate for a starting QB but I don't see Fajardo as a guy I'd want long term as a starter. He seems more of a mid tier guy at best. Not the MOP candidate that TSN touts.

Canadian Politics
I think its a Liberal minority, Liberals take most of Atlantic Canada, Bloc wins about 40 in Quebec, with a decent Liberal showing, Ontario divided among the major 3, Prairies to the Conservatives, BC also a three way race.

2-pt conversions
Calgary and Hamilton regularly go for 2. I can't recall the last time we did. Just another example of our poor offensive planning.

Canadian Politics
I feel that whether its a Liberal majority or some form of a coalition, my taxes are going up, the debt levels are going to continue to grow and the level of services is going to continue to decline. Long term, we are on the road to where we were in the early 90s (at best) or Venezuela North (worst).

GDT: Bombers at Stamps
I like Streveler but the more I watch, the more I feel like he can't throw well enough to be an effective CFL QB. Heck, it was one pass and and incompletion but McGuire's one pass to Whitehead looked way better than many of Streveler's passes.

1. You can still get abortions in New Brunswick 2. The same conditions existed in New Brunswick(ie the government not funding abortions outside of hospitals) under the previous Liberal government. So a selective omission on your part. 3. Are you suggesting that a Sheer government would attempt to limit abortions by restricting them to hospitals only? 4. You mentioned 67 potential Conservative MPs who might vote for abortion. Where are you getting the other 163 votes needed to pass any hypothetical situation. I'm sorry but your argument is full of holes and you've done nothing to show you're doing anything other than scaremongering.

Osh is a Legend
I'd like to see MOS stay as head coach with Dinwiddie as the OC. Khari would be my second choice. After that, not really excited about anybody out there.

Canadian Politics
Other than what 17to85 stated, which is spot on imo, if a government passed a bill banning abortion, they'd be in court immediately and said law would be quickly overturned. Besides healthcare is a provincial responsibility, so your NB example doesn't really work national.
