Was it Collaros or that D? I think their offense was solid (26 points) and did just enough but it was their D and ST with 14 points and relentless pressure on BLM and Co.

I felt that play by Collaros was a fumble and pretty similar to the one Matty did Friday but who knows with CFL refs.

Lankford has 17 games as a Blue Bomber with 22 catches for 278 yards and 3 tds. For comparison's sake, JFG was better last year and Kolhert has 4 seasons that are better.

How they keep coming back to Lankford is baffling. 5 years of this regime and they've brought in 1 legit receiver-Thompkins. In that same time, Edmonton scouted and brought in Walker/Williams/Zylstra and Calgary-Jorden/Daniels/Michel. How does Danny Mac and Co keep their jobs.

So Danny Barrett, heck of a nice guy, spent 3 years as a QB coach and then took over a really bad Saskatchewan Roughriders club. 2 pretty bad seasons to start things off. Then 5 years in the playoffs with essentially a .500 record and he's let go. Kent Austin comes in and gets them over the top. MOS was a ST coach, takes over Winnipeg when we were really, really bad. 2 losing seasons to start. Then two years in the playoffs losing in round 1. Year 5 seems to be trending towards a .500 mark and a 1 and done in the playoffs. So is MOS our Barrett?

Can the Riders afford to fire Jones with the new cap coming in for coaches and front office people? Isn't Jones owed $700,000 for next year? That would count would it not and you'd then still have to pay for the new guys.

So they make the Riders honour the contract but allow them to six game it? I suspect this might not be the case.

So the Bagg thing, are the Riders on the hook for him entire salary? Isn't that another $100,000?

Any predictions on the rest of the year for the Riders, Ripper? As for this week, I don't see you beating Calgary.
