I'm excited to see how the young linebackers and guys like Devin Adams look tomorrow. I wish we had at least Streveler in tomorrow to get a better idea about the WRs. I will hold back any comments about the roster until cuts on the weekend.

I think you see both Lawler and Schoen come back at $250,000 each for next season because I think that receiver contracts are going to drop and the club is going to go all in a year we are hosting the cup.

The club bringing in another DT especially gives me hope that they are leaning towards going 2 American DTs.

I picked up my Zach Collaros bobblehead today which is this year's season ticket holder gift. Very cool.

I'm excited to see how the #1 offense looks with ZC next week. Hopefully it allows us to see who the 5th WR is going to be. Also looking forward to watching how the various pieces on D look.

So here's what MBB would look like if we weren't say debating the roster

As Booch said, I think he plays 60+% of the snaps and one DT spot is divided between him and Schmekel.

I'm going to predict right now that Jake starts week 1 at DT. Hope I am wrong.

Anybody who has followed the club the past number of years can see MOS values hardworking Canadian foot soldiers and guys he locks in on as key despite obvious drawbacks (See Jake starting, Briggs getting defensive reps last year, Sam Hurl, Kuale, Roc Carmichel, Hecht, Jackson)

Ford at CB and Kramdi at LB = 2 Canadian starters = we don't have to start a Canadian DT.

I am worried about the start of the season given how injuries are piling up. I expect to be frustrated about some of the cuts. I suspect to be mad about roster decisions. I'd like this on file now for future reference.

I think what @Booch may be trying to argue is that MOS is slow/reluctant to allow younger americans to get on the roster/get a shot over american vets who have been here for awhile or who may need to be replaced. Yes, some 1st years have started but its been in cases of open competition to replace guys. Schoen when we had an open receiving spot and he won the competition Alford and Nichols when we had two open spots because Sayles and Rose had both left for the NFL. Strevy because Matty was hurt.

Riders took something like 9 penalties for 110+ yards. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

We should monetize this. "The Riders are awesome. Everything is cool when you're wearing green." Now to sit back and wait for the $ to roll in.
