Even with their recent problems, Alberta is in better shape than us. We have crumbling infrastructure, a broken down health care system and a lack of private enterprise. Throw in debt levels, an 8% PST, some of the highest tax levels in Canada and bracket creep and its pretty bad. Alberta could add a PST and junk the flat tax and they'd be in better shape.

be fair, he also took Muamba over MItchell and I am sure we can find some other instances. Drafting, especially in the CFL is a crap shoot and everyone loves Kyle Walters but how would we feel about him if he took MItchell over Muamba? Which is something he likely would have done. I'll give you Muamba over Mitchell but that's one of the few. Mack did a poor job of drafting. I could add Carl Volny over Matt Walter in 2011, Johhny Aprile over Billy Peach, Chris Smith over Ryan Bomben.

Why mess with the secondary which was the best part of our D last year. Bucknor at DB with Jones backing him up is better than putting Bucknor or Sherman at safety. For the 2nd spot on D, use Hurl and Briggs at LB with Thomas getting 15-20 reps on the DL.

We are slowly getting better with our NIs but I agree that we don't have 7 solid starters yet and we don't have a stud NI (Cornish, Harris, Laurent, Homes).

The health of Lulay will determine BC's record, big question mark imo, especially with that OL. How healthy is Reily in Edmonton? How does Durant do coming off injury? Has Winnipeg upgraded their OL and defense enough to make another jump forward? Outside of Calgary, there are big question marks about each team.

We'll be better no question but dominant will have to wait and see. Hell, I'd take average.

I suspect they are trying to trade him now. Realistically, I think they get him to take a steep salary cut. If not, he is likely gone.

I respectfully call bull on the changes. The fans want them (see sales of the royal blues versus other choices, various polls etc) and as a fellow poster said, it's not rocket science.
