  1. To be fair, Austin looked good with vets like Burris and Joseph. More developmental QBs like Bishop, not so much.
  2. 10 games versus the West not 12. Would suck to lose out on Burris too.
  3. Late to this party but sucks on Collaros going to Hamilton.
  4. I still think we have a shot. He's obviously not opposed to coming here. Agreed, but if the money is equal, you have to think he chooses Hamilton due to their season they had last year compared to ours. I'm not trying to be negative, but that really seems like the only realistic viewpoint. If we're going to get Collaros, we're going to have to beat Hamilton's offer, and probably by a decent amount. As for Burris, what does Hamilton do now if they lose out on Collaros? Kinda awkward to bring back Burris now. Wade is going to throw in free Booster juice under the table and Dieter Brock sent a video extolling the new and improved zoo.
  5. Remember when we were excited about O'Shea. Then we got Marcel. Now possibly these two. If the diehards are upset, imagine what the average fan thinks.
  6. Brandon, I keep hoping to see it. I'd take a report of Miller/Walters/OShea etc being on their way to Toronto to meet with him.
  7. Good Point Iso. Still feel the article is speculative at best. Penton has never been one to break a lot of scoops or frankly actually bust his hump and research a story.
  8. Is Hamilton really a team on the rise or did having Burris help them have a good year in a weaker division? You can make an argument that Toronto is the team to beat still in the East and that Montreal is as on the rise as Hamilton. Better location? Hamilton isn't on anybody's list of places to live that I've ever read. Hamilton's new stadium pales in comparison to ours. Winnipeg has a larger and more passionate fan base. Kent Austin has never nutured a QB, both years he won with vets.
  9. Penton's article is fairly speculative. Three sources? Who? GMs of three clubs is far different from other members of the media say. I'd take Burris as a stop gap.
  10. I'm leary of Tsoumpas's health. Bourke, I'd make the highest paid OL in the CFL seeing as he's a NI tackle. $200,000-$225,000.
  11. OK signing. If we can find a better option great.
  12. Guess we'll find out in 19 days or so who our new QB is. Should have a poll.
  13. Flutie and Moon are ahead of him for sure imo. Would personally put Ray and Dunigan ahead. Case can be made for an old timer like Etcheverry. Arguments could be made for Garcia and Dickenson too.
  14. I'd take with Wiley or Collaros. Heck I'd also take Vince Howard, Matt Saracen and Paul Crewe.
  15. Great play, classless interview. Seattle has too many douchebags on its team.
  16. Point of comparison, when Moon was winning Grey Cups the west was a stacked division.
  17. A.C. spent the first 6 years of his career struggling or being a back-up, so can't say best career ever. Very good, yes but best ever no. For best QBs, Flutie and Moon and then fight among yourselves.
  18. That article made me happy. Seems like we're being run better.
  19. I think Henoc gets between $180,000 and $200,000. Young ratio buster.
  20. Agree on the Riders.
  21. What you expected green with pink poka dots.
  22. I want to rant now. I am a Winnipeger and its my right to ***** and moan no matter what.
  23. Its January and I'm already pissed, yay.
  24. Have Gill tell teams he'll only play for Winnipeg.
  25. Want to see Lavertu as we need to upgrade the NI OL and the fact that he's a natural centre is huge. After that would be nice to nab a second rounder and a DL/LB or Coombs.
