  1. As has been pointed out, MB was OC in Montreal in 2007 - the year AC left the team to be with his wife while she was battling cancer and the year they had Charlie Carpenter as oline coach and the Als oline gave up the most sacks by far (65). A.C. played in over two thirds of the game that year (13). That OL had among other perenial all-star and potential hall of famer Scott Flory. A.C., Cahoon, Watkins, Edwards, Flory is a pretty good base of talent to work with.
  2. After leaving Saskatchewan, Bellefeuille joined the Montreal Alouettes in 2006 as their running backs and wide receivers coach.[2] In 2007 he was promoted to Offensive Coordinator and running backs coach. In his 1st season in Montreal, he helped Robert Edwards lead the CFL in touchdowns with 17.[2] Bellefeuille also helped the Alouettes be the only team with two 1,000 yard receivers in Kerry Watkins and Ben Cahoon.[2] That team was 7th in points scored.
  3. Never had an offense better than 4th in points scored. In Montreal he has A.C., Cahoon, Watkins, Robert Edwards and a great OL and was 7th in points scored. Forget last year, his track record speaks for itself.
  4. To those saying don't look at last year, he had a poor offense in 07 as OC in Montreal and he had A.C. as his QB, Ben Cahoon at receiver and Scott Flory anchored that OL.
  5. I hold 2013 against him, took him almost half a season to get to 300 yards something Crowton did with the same group 3 times. Feel rewarding him for the couple of good games at the end of 2013 is like rewarding Crowton for a few good games at the end of 2012.
  6. Marcel who went 8 games without having offense gain 300 total yards last year? The man who had average at best offenses in Hamilton and Saskatchewan? Who made A.C. look cooked in 07?
  7. Hope this is false. Marcel is a mediocre OC (see Winnipeg 2013, his tenures as OC in Saskatchewan, Hamilton and Montreal)
  8. Calgary, lose a good QB, Starting safety, starting OL.
  9. Sucks losing Kolhert unless he didn't want to be here. Like the position it puts us in for Collaros/Wily/Burris.
  10. After listening, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Swiston wasn't protected. My thought as well. I've been thinking they protected Henoc, Watson, Greaves, Neufeld, Pencer and Swiston but now suspect it may have been Kolhert instead of Swiston.
  11. If not Stubler, Miles?
  12. Is there an "I'm happy so far with Walters and even pleasantly surprised camp"? I like who he hired as a head coach. I like the two AGMs who were hired and the improved front office. I see how Woodson for Parenteau was a good deal except Parenteau got hurt. I see the potential of Neufeld and how if he can play RT its a steal.
  13. So an OL drafted in the 7th round last year and a receiver who was undrafted then protected or claimed by Hamilton. Not impressive.
  14. Marcel was a losing head coach and he did little with our offense this year, plus he advocated for us to bring in Boltus. The experience thing can be overrated, Jim Daley and Jeff Reinbold have experience too
  15. Lawless was touting Stubler and Marcel on his show today. Please not Marcel. Rather see Khari, Jarious Jackson or Jason Maas.
  16. Please not Marcel Bell a FOOL for OC.
  17. On the national media, will keep saying they're idiots if they don't think Edmonton is as bad or worse with their clown of a GM. On who we hire: If not Khari for OC, who?
  18. So when do they announce coaches?
  19. Are you planning on getting Desjardins drunk the night before?
  20. Khari was over 4000 yards and 25 passing tds in 03 with 11 wins, better than any season we've had by a qb since save Glenn in 07 and that was the "letdown" year.
  21. He might not look as good because he won't have an entire half to break down one play.
  22. Bluto, Edmonton can have McCune, I'll take Pat Watkins.
  23. He's just trying to score Jets tickets.
  24. Does anybody know which QBs are on our neg list? Along those lines who has Brock Jensen or Jordan Lynch on their lists?
  25. Really like the hire, proven success and adds a vet coach which I feel we need. 4 Grey Cups. And frankly, I'd blame the O and Chapdeline more for BC's issues.
