I like that they are bringing in somebody with CFL experience, don't like that its Marcel. In 2007 when he was OC in Montreal they were 7th in points scored and A.C. struggled. Recall he was the guy trying to change A.C.'s mechanics and drops.
That sounds about what my friends have said. There are some nice 1,000-1500 sq foot 3 bedrooms in NK, GC etc for $250-300,000 so something similar for $450-500,000 makes sense.
I'm afraid they go for a big splash move and it hurts us long term, Kevin Glenn, Zach Collaros aren't worth giving up a ton. Collaros is a free agent to be and Glenn is soon to be 35.
How do you explain the first two-three games with no banged up receivers and a healthy running back? How about that the run game has been better with Goltz under center?
I agree. Lawless when he discusses football shows ignorence. So does most of 1290's crew. Example, none of them knew Collaros was a free agent after this season. All seem to think Huff would actually trade BLM.
Heard Lawless ripping into the board on the way home today. The leak was a board member. Gary also feels that our receivers are poor and that Etienne is a bust. Westwood loves the hiring of Wade Miller which scares me.
Assume we are keeping Moll.
NI talent is a tough one: We need more quality NI OL. If Pencer and Swiston pan out that's huge, but we should have been drafting more OL. For example, Brett Jones over Kris Robertson. Also need more help on the DL, if Mulumba and Bilikudi pan out, Bam but still that's a big if.
If we count from 2010 on when Walters got here: Henoc, Watson, Etienne, Swiston, Thomas, Greaves and the free agent signings of Palardy and Kolhert. Not a bad resume.
Disagree on it all being Izzy's fault, from Canwest to the CMFHR to the Stadium his kids have just scewed up everything they've touched. Asper shouldn't be near the team. Stand by my comments on Sheegl and Barletta, neither the province or the city should have a spot on the board and the two previously mentioned come from a city and a province that are being run piss poorly.
