  1. I was half joking when I posted last night about no changes. Frustrating. Parker needs to go in and they need another DL. Why does this staff use Jackson? No tackles on ST or D and he barely plays outside of teams?
  2. Hoping I'm wrong but I am betting we go same roster as last week even though Parker for Darby and an extra DL for Jackson would be better.
  3. I'm nervous too but would not say clobbered, Calgary scored 20 points and 7 came from a ST gaffe by Toronto. Plus Kelly went out early and Dukes is raw.
  4. Anybody seen the PC bus bench ads attacking Wab and saying crime will be worse under him? The candidate they have featured on them has tweeted in the past that BLM is a terrorist organization, Blue Lives Matter, that systemic racism doesn't exist within the police and has said that those who want to defund the police should not have access to 911 services. Wab gave a good speech today about how his past helped shape him into who he is today. Honestly, I'm tired of people bringing up Wab's past. Would not happen nearly as much if he was white. My proof, Scott Moe is Premier of Saskatchewan, how often do you hear about the fact he killed a woman because he was driving recklessly?
  5. Peters has 29 tackles and 3 ints. Houston has better stats, 26 tackles but 6 ints, 3 ff and 3 fr.
  6. No Jefferson for MODP but Peters is a joke. Kelly for MOP is the same. Rice as top OL? This stuff's not fit to line a bird cage.
  7. They are trying to make him look softer in order to appeal to female voters. Yeah, a guy who had a salary of $141,000 when he had just turned 25 and was elected as an MP and who now makes over $250,000 is a regular guy. Conservatives said JT had a weak resume, PP is weaker. Party staffer and then MP.
  8. The CFL had a statement released saying it was not a penalty.
  9. I'd be more worried about having difficulties with the Stamp's running game.
  10. PST? What are you a🤣 Commie? 😉
  11. I suspect Zach sits this week out of caution but what do I know.
  12. Fine is out 2-3 weeks according to RF.Com. They're in tough as Dolegala looks awful.
  13. Nice thing about Brown was they didn't have to change the offense or limit what could be called.
  14. You could become a Bomber fan and make the future inlaws happy.
  15. I can see that game now. Noeller and I cheering against the Riders, drinking and discussing where on Moron Mountain we'd like to work.
  16. So hypothetically Winnipeg could deal Brown's rights in the off season for draft capital. How does the 2024 draft look and what do you think we'd get?
  17. Go Montreal. To be clear, I'd cheer for the aliens from Space Jam and being enslaved rather than cheer for the Greenies.
  18. I'm not a ref but I can google search and read. By my count, there a 4 clear violations of the rule on that play. I'd be curious to hear from @Booch or @JuranBoldenRules or @wbbfan on my analysis.
  19. This is the rule. He clearly lands on him with most of his weight. (#1). He hits him in the head. (#2). He had to dive onto Zach on the ground which means he didn't make an attempt to avoid the hit. (#3). Zach is out of the play at the time of the hit. (#4). Article 5 — Roughing The Passer Because the act of passing puts the passer in a particularly vulnerable position to injury, special rules against roughing the passer apply. Once the ball is released, defensive players must avoid all unnecessary contact with the passer. A player shall be penalized for any act of Unnecessary Roughness to the passer, including but not limited to: Contacting the passer in an unnecessary manner, including stuffing him to the ground, violently throwing him to the ground, and landing on him with most of the defender's weight, Any blow above the passer's shoulder, All rushing defenders must attempt to avoid forcibly hitting a passer in the pocket, at or below the knees, either if their path to the passer was unrestricted, or if they are coming off a blocker, Attacking the passer who, after releasing the ball, is either standing still or fading backwards and is obviously out of the play and remains out of the play, When the quarterback slides feet first, all unnecessary contact must be avoided. The slide must be done in a timely manner to allow the defence to avoid such contact. Contacting the passer if either the initial source of contact, or primary source of contact, is the defender's helmet.
  20. He did? What did he say.
