  1. I feel like all this needs is a "Bonjour, you cheese eating surrender monkeys"
  2. We need to have a talk. Are you sitting down?
  3. True but to me, helping elevate a team in the win column is outstanding.
  4. Take Brady off our team and we likely have 4-5 wins not 10 and counting. Take Milligan off the Riders and they likely have the same 9 wins.
  5. Anybody else think Hamilton should have tried to throw it on third down?
  6. Yardage and TDs are light. Milt set the overall TD record is his MOP year. Banks led the CFL in both receiving yards and TDs in his. Williams 18 set a receiving TD record. Murphy had 116 receptions in his (still a club record). Simon and Fernandez both are just outstanding years. Also better team success than BC. Media seems determined to not give it to Brady. Of and my above research while stellar took under 10 minutes and writing about the CFL is not my job.
  7. McInnis had 1469 yards and 7tds Previous WR MOPs 2002-Milt 1862 yards 23tds 2006-Greoy Simon 1856 yards 15tds 2019-Brandon Banks 1550 yards 13tds 1988-Dave Williams 1483 yards 18tds 1986-James Murphy 1746 yards 12tds 1985 Mervyen Fernandez 1727 yards 15tds Yeah, not the same.
  8. Great points, I should have researched more before posting.
  9. Thinking about the award nominees It should be Brady for MOP, MOC Beverette for MODP (better overall stats, D and team then Milligan) STPOY Milligan ROY Wilson
  10. Brady should be MOC and MOP for the second season in a row but I bet he gets gyped out of MOP again for Milligan or Beverette because the writers have the collective IQ of Ralph Wiggum.
  11. All time greats generally would be great in any era. Some would even excel more now. Example, NBA, Larry Bird, the way the game is played now and his skill set his numbers are better. Essentially a better Doncic or Jokic.
  12. The Flutie tossing shovel passes comment like it was all he did just shows some ignorance. Guy could make every throw. In terms of the 90s, Flutie not only spent significant time in the NFL, he was a Pro Bowler. Ditto Garcia, long NFL career and 4 Pro Bowls. David Archer had spent a number of years in the NFL before coming to the CFL. Nobody currently in the CFL has done that or is likely too.
  13. Won't help either market sell tickets. Lousy tv draw.
  14. The NFL also didn't like to start non caucasian QBs either back then. Guy like Russell Wilson would have been in the CFL in the 90s.
  15. My mantra for each week that remains in the season is this: Just Win Baby
  16. Flutie played at a time when you had Matt Dunigan (HOF), Damon Allen (HOF), Danny McManus (HOF), Tracy Ham (HOF), Kent Austin (6000 yard passing season, 5000 yard passing season, 3 4000 yard passing seasons), Jeff Garcia (4 time West All Star QB, 4 time pro bowler in the NFL), David Archer (6000 yard passing season) and that's just QBs. Your statement that the talent was lower is foolish. Much higher caliber of QB and QB play in that era. As for your statement that he's on pace for HOF career, wrong again. Nice record but its more about his team than Kelly. Plus its way to early to judge a player on a season and a half. I give you a QB who in his first two years starting put up 8.689 passing yards, 61 td passes, won over 20 games in those two seasons. Not in the CFL HOF. For fun, name him.
  17. Adams to start WSF. BC has to be regretting being on the hook for 750,000 in 25 and 800,000 in 26 for Rourke.
  18. What did Ottawa do to you?
  19. At least Ottawa made the playoffs and was good at home. Step up compared to the previous three seasons.
  20. Can't see Zach retiring. Jake on the other hand needs a forced retirement aka us not signing him.
  21. Wait, this isn't a safe space to express my deep fears?
  22. Counter point, I may have to live with us losing a WF in Regina and the joy it would bring to Rider fans. Not a good thing at all.
  23. This is your reminder that the Ignore function is your friend.
  24. I say he's pretty dang good. *readies self for a barrage of counter posts*
