Interesting to note that Streveler is holding tonight and not McGuire. It’s very possible that was the cause of Medlock’s early struggles with field goals.
It did feel like Matthews wasn’t a great fit in the games he was in the lineup for. Even with the small sample size. Lawler certainly moves a hell of a lot better. Matthews is much better as a wideout than as a slot, but so is Adams and wasting one of them at field WR isn’t a good option either.
Totally different. For one, Walker is still good and has the track record of an elite player for a number of years. Green doesn’t have it anymore but he was one of the best slots in the league for a number of years and was likely the best at his position for a good two seasons. Wilder had an elite second half of the season two years ago buoyed mainly by two massive games. He’s done next to nothing since.
Every team has some weapons. The weapons on this Argo offence outside of Walker are either vastly overrated or just plain bad. Green can hardly move anymore, Wilder is a glorified receiver who can’t get anything going on the ground and Edwards is fine but pretty much the definition of average import receiver. Combine that with bad QBing and there really isn’t much there.
I find that most people who complain about the stadium and the location are the people who like to **** on the Bombers for any reason. Generally not fans of the team.
