  1. I can see it now. O’Shea coverts Lankford to punter so he can justify keeping him on the roster another 12 years.
  2. That’s fair, I haven’t seen enough reps of Augustine to know his blocking ability but LaFrance is an abysmal runner.
  3. I have to say, I’m disappointed that O’Shea took Streveler out so early. I recognize that we may need him in the playoffs and an injury to him would be a problem but the guy needs reps and if he’s resistant to even put in his backup in blowouts, there are few better opportunities than a meaningless game.
  4. The poor decision making, arm strength and accuracy he has shown this season as well as in his time in the NFL is very hard to correct regardless of supporting cast. I would argue that the struggles that the Als have experienced this season are more due to terrible QB play than poor support cast play.
  5. Because that’s the topic of the thread, pal.
  6. As bad as Manziel is, and he is very bad, Pipkin is far worse. He’s a total disaster.
  7. Calgary’s defence or offence is just a likely to catch fire in the semi than they would in the final. I get that we can’t win the final if we’re not playing in the game but whether we think their genuinely hurt or just banged up, it’s mind blowing to me that we wouldn’t rather the team with more significant injuries first. The Riders lineup will be more or less the same whether we play them first or second.
  8. In that case, wouldn’t we want to face the beat up team coming off three straight losses? Despite their loss to us, Sask has won more games recently than Calgary has.
  9. Okay... but the Stamps have significant injuries on defence as well and I would much rather face them without Vaughters, Thurman and Roberson if possible like we did last week.
  10. Sure, but we have to ultimately play both to win it all so would we not rather the less healthy team first?
  11. At this junction, the Bombers are better than both Calgary and Saskatchewan. Playing on the road hurts but frankly I see no major difference in quality between them. Calgary’s offence is struggling due to injuries while Saskatchewan’s is due to poor quality players and play calling. We have to go into each place to get to the cup so while ultimately it doesn’t matter, I guess I’d rather play Calgary first so they don’t have that extra week to get healthier.
  12. Connor Scheifele Wheeler didn’t play together at all today off the PP so not sure how they could have been broken up while leading 2-0
  13. That’s not true. Turnovers are skill based, converting them into touchdowns is largely not. Having the QB fumble the ball on the 1 and having a defender pick it up isn’t largely random?
  14. TDs on D are luck based plays so no but I don’t really care.
  15. Wheeler has been disgustingly bad this season. He can hardly handle the puck.
  16. Bombers defence is arguably as good.
  17. And their offence is the worst in the league.
  18. But to be fair to Masoli, without Banks and Saunders, he arguably has less to work with than Collaros. Even a great QB like Mitchell is struggling without quality receivers.
  19. Most of us who suggest Nichols is subpar agree that Masoli is trash.
