Why would you assume we lose Chungh... he is likely the Bombers’ top priority.

I would LOVE to see a line of Import LT-Spooner-Goossen-Chungh-Gray at some point. I’d love that LT to be Bryant but it’s hard for me to imagine him being dominant for more than two more seasons.

I’m not particularly afraid of either Hamilton or Ottawa. Both teams could easily beat us but they don’t have the firepower of even a depleted Calgary and Edmonton. Hamilton isn’t the same offence without Saunders and Trevor Harris has the mental fortitude of a wet paper bag.

It’s worth a try, since at this point they don’t seem to be utilizing him in his current role.

I mean, he did just trade for Philip Blake and has spent two recent high picks on Canadian OL. The guy is a loser and makes many questionable decisions but to say he doesn’t care about Canadian OL is pretty ridiculous.

We also don’t have any guys who regularly can win jump balls at the receiver position. Adams is fine but catching the ball in traffic is hardly his strength. It doesn’t excuse the poor success rate on deep balls but it contributes.

Keep Couture, punt Neufeld. I do think they protect Gray as a tackle, though.

I don’t want to speak for all of Nichols’ critics but for me personally, it’s not about this. Of course I would rather pedestrian numbers and a win over big numbers and a loss in an isolated scenario but it’s about sustainability. We are far more likely to win a future game if our QB throws for 300 and 3 TDs than if he throws for 150 and 1 TD. I’ll give Nichols all the credit in the world for his throw to Adams. It was easily his best throw of the season and it resulted in a much needed big play against a very good defence. Maybe this team doesn’t need above average QB play to win a Grey Cup, I just wouldn’t want to rely on that in a situation against Calgary or a team with even a half decent offence.

Jennings makes Lulay look like Joe Montana so yeah, he’ll make a difference.

Was watching the game on mute on my phone. When I had the opportunity to turn up the volume and I heard the unmistakable voice of Rod Black, I instantly turned the volume back down and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the game. There is no excuse for his play by play other than possibly brain damage so maybe we shouldn’t make fun of him.

Hervey definitely shouldn’t be discussing this publicly but it’s well known that he’s a complete moron so it’s no surprise. On the other hand, Jennings is bad and will always be bad so if Hervey alienates him to the point of leaving, it’s a net gain.

The team is rounding into form at the right time. All the credit to them.

I was expecting it too but he missed Walker and once Duke got dinged up he was not a factor. Stafford, Giguere and to a lesser extent Mitchell don’t scare anyone.

He’s still a useful player but he’s hardly being underutilized.

He hasn’t shown to be capable of more than that this season.

Without a doubt this D gives this team a chance to win every game at this point. If and when Jeffcoat gets back, it will be even better. Gaitor has been a pleasant surprise at SAM too.

I gave the D plenty of credit earlier. It was a good game by them. Even a great game. Edmonton definitely sucked though.
