Nice to see somebody playing on offence saying they need to personally be better. Someone should take note.

It’s things like sitting Poop Johnson over apparent discipline issues but not holding other players to the same level of accountability. Bowman is traded due to poor play (well deserved), while others get trotted out week after week. There is no visible logic to his decisions.

Mike O’Shea does a lot of really good things as head coach but his stubbornness and roster management is so bad that it destroys all the good things.

I’d argue it’s worse than with Willy. They at least got rid of Willy when it was clear he was done.

I would guarantee that a change at QB would at the very least give this team a spark. One that was sorely missing today.

I legitimately hate Matt Nichols.

Good thing this isn’t a home game. Poor Nichols would have already drowned in a pool of his own tears from the boos.

Since Masoli broke the record for most consecutive 300 yard games, maybe Nichols is looking to break the record for most consecutive sub-300 yard games.

Nichols is so so SO bad.

We will have to wait another week for a good game from Nichols.

You have to start somewhere. We either complain about retreads or too many rookies. Can’t have it both ways.

Lankford is the only dud there. I don’t really know what the complaint is about the other two.

The new starters are Demski, Wolitarsky and Thompkins. I don’t have time to go to the stats but Denmark’s receiving numbers last year were abysmal. If you don’t think Thompkins at this point in time is better than last year’s Denmark, I don’t know what to tell you. JFG was fine at best but while I’m not the biggest Demski fan, his production this year has already almost matched JFG’s from last year in a third of the season.

This year’s group is lightyears better but nice try. Also smith and kohlert both weren’t here last year. Also Denmark, JFG and Kohlert largely suck. Lots wrong here.

You could argue that when the gameplan from the defence is to stop the run, it would make passing the ball exponentially easier.

He’s not bad but unlikely to be a long term answer. Though you never know with the team still employing Unamba. Porter was forced into action at SAM last year due to injuries against BC and while he wasn’t great, it was hardly the perfect circumstances for him to make his debut.

Meh, I wouldn't want him at linebacker either. JSK is way, WAY better than Loffler could ever dream of. He'd be nice on teams though.

Then he can play linebacker, I guess. He does not have the speed to play safety at an adequate level at this point.

Most people who are critical of Nichols play were also critical of Willy. Most rational people aren’t blinded by who the player is and will evaluate the play rather than the player. This has nothing to do with Willy. Get over it.

He’s without a doubt better than Lankford, if that’s what you’re suggestion.

Ricky Collins more or less sucks too.

Lapolice has been in a lot of ways better than I expected him to be as OC since my expectations were essentially zero but if someone wants to make him their HC, they can have him. He will be the same guy he was as HC here and hopefully we could take advantage of his numerous coaching blunders for some free victories.

Two catches for 18 yards in a very high volume position is as close to a complete flop as you can have. Especially when you drop a touchdown and a third down conversion in the same game. I recognize that he shouldn't be in these positions in the first place, but that doesn't excuse not making plays when given the opportunity.
