Definitely. Streveler is worth way more than Westerman and Williams and the two picks are nice but seeing how much trouble we’ve had finding good QBs, it would take more than even that for me to be okay with getting rid of him.

Football is a business and the Als at this point know they are screwed so the least they can do it play Manziel and sell tickets. They owe Adams nothing. He was brought in because they needed a QB and only played because Manziel needed a week to learn the playbook. I personally think both he and Manziel suck but to say that Adams deserves more of a chance is ridiculous. He sucked last week and has basically sucked his whole career.

Benching Fenner or using him as a DI would be lunacy. He is one of the best defenders in the league period.

Bridge sucks. He has no accuracy and for some reason can’t throw a pass less than 100 mph. There is no chance he ever amounts to anything and I don’t want him anywhere near the Bombers ever.

Better than outright releasing him. This is a win without a doubt. We don’t have to pay him and we don’t have to play him.

The problem with inserting Thompkins is that he really isn’t a slot receiver. His skill set is best utilized as an outside deep threat. So if you make that change, you also have to move someone else inside. Washington makes far more sense as a direct replacement.

The Argos defensive secondary is not good at all and their scheme is even worse. Credit to him for having a good game but let’s not go overboard. Nichols is what he is. We can win games with him without a doubt but he doesn’t win games for you like Reilly. Streveler may not amount to anything but his ceiling is far higher. And the hurry up offence with him staying in after a sneak has the potential to be extremely effective if they stick with it.

Calgary having only 46 points against through five games is absolutely obscene.

Trestman is fine but he has no impact on that defence. If Lapo stays out of his own way, Bombers win in a walk.

He’s also extremely underrated as a run stopper. He’s a very good player.

He probably (stupidly) expected them to be at least competitive, though. Not many people hate being traded from the worst team in any league.

Great at reading the snap count to get a jump but goes offside a lot trying to anticipate. Has lost a step or two and takes some extremely stupid roughness penalties but still without a doubt the best National passrusher around. By all accounts great teammate and great with fans too.

Cunningham, Jackson and Eugene Lewis, sure. Williams meh. They are totally different receivers and Williams was never really anything than a stretch the field boom or bust guy even at his peak.

He is probably better than bowman but that’s not saying much. He did nothing for BC last year either.

Westerman and Williams are basically done but I like the looks of those picks. I get they needed to do something but this is likely to set the Als back even further.

I don’t hate the man but I definitely hate the football player.

I’m harder on the scouting staff’s inability to find receivers as anyone but at some point it also comes down to the fact that O’Shea will never hold guys like Denmark or Bowman accountable midseason. This year a number of guys looked good in camp but they were never going to make the team when the receivers that were going to make the team were already set, for better or for worse.
