  1. The highlight of the game for me? Now there should be no doubt in anyone's mind that Buck Pierce is atrocious no matter what team he's on.
  2. Or more accurately, how stupid Tim Burke is. The depth on this team isn't good, but there are 4 or 5 different ways to work the lineup better than putting in three import OL. What is his plan here? It can't be talent evaluation or MSW would be in to see what we have there and Pencer would continue to get a shot. But we can't actually be trying to win, right? And if we were trying to win, wouldn't we want to play a guy like Ian Wild, who has been a significant bright spot on the team? Sure doesn't seem worth starting an ineffective Will Ford at his expense. The funniest part about this is that the run game will still suck.
  3. What if they aren't coaching 110%?
  4. I don't think anyone but Tim Burke is actually blaming Demond for the loss. It was a bad break. They happen from time to time. There were countless other plays that lead to the loss and while that one was definitely the worst, it would be foolish to lay the blame on the guy for trying to make a play and getting a bad bounce. On the other hand, had it been Jovon I would have wanted his head on a platter.
  5. I'm not a fan.
  6. Jovon's specialty is catching the ball and either falling down or diving forward right away for a gain of two. He reminds me of the VERY over-the-hill AJIII his last trip here.
  7. Good thing he's not saying that.
  8. Seriously, who do you think we could get for Poblah or Edwards? I love reading the trade proposals here where we trade rowboats for battleships. And who did you think we could get for Buck freaking Pierce???
  9. It's hardly relevant to the trade today that we got Buck as a FA five years ago. What makes it so sweet is that I think most of us would have dumped Buck for free and the fact that he had any trade value whatsoever is astounding to say the least.
  10. he was good
  11. My own personal morale is way up. Perhaps I should have been more clear. This is something I never in a billion years thought would happen. It was getting to a point where I was worried that we would be stuck with an 80 year old Buck starting in 50 years.
  12. Based on what? nothing really but it's no worse than ranking LeFevour second in the group of new QBs. You're 100% right in saying that we haven't seen enough of him but that's the thing, he's shown no more than Adrian McPherson, DeMarco or even a guy like Spurgeon Wynn ever did,
  13. I do love how a win and this trade improves morale in here completely. The eight losses have melted away.
  14. my god you are tiring.
  15. LeFevour is atrocious. He's Quinton Porter lite.
  16. This is incredible. A complete steal. There is a god.
  17. What is your definition of suck? At this point, you're embarrassing yourself.
  18. I don't hate this but on the other hand, it's been so long since we've made a move like this that I don't know what's good and what's bad anymore. I always thought Bo Smith sucked but at least he has some size and it's not as if our DBs are playing well by any stretch of the imagination.
  19. This is complete crap, but whatever makes you feel better. Because we all know Buck's word when it comes to his own health is always on the up-and-up.
  20. That's because we only have three QBs on the entire roster. The Calgary game he would have been scratched for had we had a fourth QB on the roster.
  21. Waters is also terrible so I would agree.
  22. Ok. It just seemed like it was his performance tonight that sealed the deal for you. I'd give him more than 2 games to judge him but I was more than impressed with Hall and the way he played. He has poise coming out the ass.
  23. The talent in the secondary and to a lesser extent receiver is my only concern in terms of what Mack brought us. I mean QB is obvious as well but that's been spoken about enough. OL doesn't concern me as much because there does seem to be a direction there with a bunch of young talent. The thing about the DBs that concerns me is that every other team in the league has slowly (or quickly) gone towards bigger DBs. We have Stewart and Sears but everyone else is below 6 feet and we really haven't brought any bigger DBs in to even take a look. I realize talent trumps all, but Suber and Jovon even at their absolute best were already at a disadvantage. Now they are far from at their best.
  24. What about the three plays Goltz was in for today lead you to this conclusion? Was it the QB sneak?
