2021 Blue Bombers Training Camp/Pre-Season Stuff

Kind of agree, but small sample size, though. This group/regime still has something to prove, imo. -
2021 Blue Bombers Training Camp/Pre-Season Stuff

But why do the failings of previous regimes get heaped on to this one? -
My grandfather and great uncle narrowly avoided residential schools because he and his brother were born off reserve and their parents never went back. They moved to alberta and worked on a farm for most of their lives. After he left the army, served in korea, he had no form of physical identification until long after he got married and had children. He never pursued any type of band membership because he didn't want his boys being taken away.

It's not a mass shooting if everyone is shooting. That's just a regular gunfight, you pantywaist.

I think you pretty much nailed how a merger would go down, imo. It's almost funny, each league has different problems that tge other is in a position to solve. The cfl has a small but devoted fan base. A mediocre tv deal, and the necessary infrastructure to have a football season. The xfl has a lucrative tv deal, maybe not a devoted fanbase but the exposure needed to build one, and no stadiums to play in. I can see this happening.

Definitely an ugly botch. But otherwise, a pretty good match, and decent overall card. Didn't knock my socks off, other than the Christian signing.

Have you been to an aew live event with marko stunt wrestling? I have. People love to root for the underdog. But whatever. It's obvious you don't enjoy the product and nothing is going to change your mind.

Tony Kahn doesn't do all the booking and they do utilize other mote experienced guys like Arn and Jericho, Dustin, Cody and QT Marshall help out as well. Jericho talks about this on various podcasts of his. I do agree there is room to get a lot better though. They like to give guys creative freedom and give them the chance to get over on their own. But some guys just need help and there is no two ways about it. Shawn Spears is a perfect example. He's the total package but can't seem to find a way to connect with the audience. Disagree with you about marko stunt and joey janela. People love them, over is over. They might not be everyone's cup of tea, but its not like they're being booked in the title picture. They're generally squash guys. Someone has to do the job. Agreed about the whole same spot fest thing. And it will change. Jericho and jim ross have both mentioned it on their podcasts. Recently, Jericho finished a segment and went to the back and bitched about things being too similar. I think it was when they added mjf to the inner circle and right before dark order or team taz, i forget which, had the exact same segment adding a new member.

It's hard to even grasp what the Aew naysayers even want. They push new guys and people ***** that they're nobodies. They sign established vets and people say they're trying to recreate the past.

I don't know, man. I think if Jay White and the Guerrillas of Destiny suddenly showed up on Dynamite, that would be a very big deal.

No. Tsn bought the rights to the games. What they could do is a pay per view for post game press conferences, interviews and maybe something like coaches breaking down certain plays on film. Tsn owns the rights for the games but nothing else outside of the game. So they are looking at monetizing other aspects. The problem is these kinds of things cost money to produce and its unknown what the appetite would be.

Who cares about the regular season?? We were "dominant " when it mattered. The regular season is just practice for the playoffs, everyone knows that. If we went 18-0 but lost pre season games would you complain about that too?
-
Doubtful. Aew doesn't employ writers. But maybe in an on screen capacity. Could be entertaining. I would watch that

Well, bischoff has been on a few episodes already... and they just announced a partnership with impact, so... yes?

And the AEW title comes back to Winnipeg for the 2nd time. Congrats to Kenny omega. Winnipeg has now produced more Aew world champions than any other city on earth

I guess they're also bad at math. Trump has 232 electoral votes to Biden 306. If they flip Pennsylvania it still doesn't give trump a win.
-
Totally. I was being generous when i called it Republican loyalty.
-
My American friends are mostly all voting Biden. The one trumper i know can't coherently express why he is voting trump other than Republican loyalty.

Was certainly a meh episode. Won't debate that. But i wouldn't call luther a bad wrestler. He's achieved a fair amount of success. They haven't given him much spotlight yet on aew

I remember being 7 years old and beating the hell out of a kid in Sunday school for saying the Fabulous Ones were better than the Road Warriors. He was wrong then and he's still wrong today. RIP Animal.

Would pick prime Damon Allen over prime Kevin Glenn? I think i would.

I'm an aboriginal man, and i consider the term eskimo to be in the same vein as calling a Canadian a canuck or an American a yankee. It's more of a nickname that can be used as a slur depending on context. I'm not opposed to changing the name, but i don't feel its necessary.

I felt AEW made some smart choices tonight. Putting the back drop so close to the ring did a nice job of filling the screen. Probably helped to make it less echoey in the building too. Having wrestlers as the crowd was awesome. Even a few people hooting and hollering made a big difference in overall feel of the show. Not sure about brodie lee/luke Harper as the exalted one. Could be good, could be an old bray wyatt copy. We'll see, i guess. Matt hardy will be awesome, no matter what. Super excited to see what he does.

Sammy guevara grabbing a mike and badly singing along to Judas was hilarious. AEW just has the ability to be more fun to watch, than wwe.

I don't think i said anything that was un-insightful. In fact, what i said was factual and not homerish at all. So what the **** are you talking about??
