I'm not sure I really like dressing 6 NATS on O. What happens if Harris goes down in a game? You've declared 6 NATS on O so a NAT basically has to come in at RB or REC. It would then be hard to get Flanders moved back to RB.
If you go with 5, and Harris goes down, Flanders moves to RB and a NAT slides in at REC.
Maybe I'm over thinking this, or we pick up Lafrance, which works too.

How can the Riders sign all these players & be under the cap? Today I read that now they're in the running to sign Adarius Bowman. How can they sign every expensive veteran player out there??
Because they don't have a lot of money tied up on their QBs... oh wait...
Because everyone wants to live in Regina, and will take a pay cut to do so...
They will just 6 game these guys until the playoffs, therefore the majority of their salaries don't count against the cap.

Manitoba RCMP said Monday that Carter was alleged to have more than 30 grams of pot with him at the time of his arrest.
Even once marijuana is legal in Canada, possession of more than 30 grams will still be against the law.

Yup...
"Saskatoon police were called by Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) officials just before midnight Thursday. CBSA agents stopped a traveler and searched his bags and located marijuana. Police attended and arrested and charged Carter."

First CFL contract so he has the 2 year minimum, just like Wilder.
The problem is options don't exist in the CFL anymore. So this was a "verbal option" with an administration who is no longer in charge. Which comes back to the old rule unfortunately .... get it in writing. Or, even more likely, his agent did a poor job explaining what this option agreement actually meant.
This is exactly it. The Argos announced Butler's signing on February 1, 2017 and Barker was only fired a week before that on January 24th. Given those timelines, Butler had most likely been negotiating with Barker, who often released players to try the NFL, and probably agreed to do so if the opportunity came up for Butler. Barker is fired and a new regime comes in, which doesn't operate that way, and now... he's stuck.

And now Butler is upset.

I doubt he signed for big time money, and probably took a bit of a cut.
I remember Walters saying in his end of year press conference that Wild came to him and said he really wanted to come back, whatever it would take. He said he started here when the team was crap, and wanted to see it through.

Interesting bit from Julien Laurent's GSU Bio.
QuoteJUNIOR COLLEGE: Made 21 tackles and one interception in six games in 2014 at New Mexico Military Institute... Native of Canada who played for ESC Renaissance ... Relative newcomer to football who has been compared to former Georgia State defensive lineman Christo Bilukidi, another Canadian who completed his third NFL season with the Baltimore Ravens in 2014.
Let's just hope he doesn't follow Bilukidi's footsteps by getting drafted by the Blue Bombers and never suiting up for the team...

That's one potential MLB off the board.
