  1. Not necessarily true..."that is how you win games"...if the defence holds the other team to 0 points or 16 points and we score 17...we win don't we?
  2. Of course they should look to the D to give them the ball back. Every offence wants that! Our D was terrible! The whole point is that the O cannot get into any kind of a rythm when they are sitting on the sidelines for 5 or 10 minutes!
  3. There is no way that Leggett should be returning anything. Bad coaching again. Once a player has had an injury like his, they are never close to 100 percent until the 2nd year, and some don't even get close to that. There are all sorts of studies to back that up. This is just another example of bad coaching decisions,
  4. How can there be an efficient offence when they are hardly on the field because the defence is allowing time consuming long drives, with no one s within five yards of each hamilton receiver? Offence can't get into any kind of rhythm. Dropped passes don't help. Give us a break...it was a poor defensive plan from start to finish, and no adjustments were made at half time. The offence did not lose us the game, the defence did as soon as it stepped on the field.
  5. Yeah right...we have a bunch of rotten apples, which got us to the playoffs last year. Sure you need good players, but how the defence is run makes the huge difference. With the SAME players we have, and Chris Jones for a defensive coordinator, things would improve by a large amount.
  6. Another thank you...makes it even easier for me.
  7. Atomic....yes we have Shaw...thank you much appreciated...signed in and now watching. I will capture it and watch it on the big screen.
  8. Com'n guys this is a legitimate request for someone who could not get to see the game. The thread is being high jacked.
  9. We lost our power when the storm started and didn't get it back until 5:15AM I had set the pvr to record until about 5AM but that didn't do me any good. If anyone has the ability to edit the delays out of the game and post somewhere it would be very much appreciated.
  10. Seeing as you want to disparage Walters so much...guess you would like to have Joe Mack back.
  11. Ross reminds me a bit of Willy as he hangs onto the ball too long and is reluctant to throw it out of bounds. I do not think he sees the field as well as Strevler. BigBlue...ross will protect the ball better? based on what? he fumbled first offensive play of the game!
  12. I was there yesterday...cold in those stands. Most of the day was teaching so everything was split up in segments on the field, e.g. linemen one area, defence another and so on. When I first got there our drafted kicker Felix Menard-Briere was on the field by himself. He was kicking field goals from the 55 yard line. The first 3 or 4 fell at the 5 yard line, but the rest went through the posts easily and was very accurate. Not quite sure about his punting though. He was on the field all practice running the end zone by himself. There are so many receivers in camp and so many Canadians for a change, pretty much focused on them when they were actually doing something to watch, which was not too often...but saw a lot of potential out there, much more than some previous seasons. Notables Donteea Dye #77 very interesting...good hands small and quick and very athletic Tylor Henry national did not look out of place Rashaun Simonize national #13...hmmm...big and fast, can see why he had an NFL look. Right now? not yet sold on his hands...lots of potential there for sure, but what good is a receiver if they are not reliable? Johnny Augustine #35, National, fast and strong, appears to have great hands out of the backfield and would be a load on 2nd and short. Was very impressed with him. Can't believe he wasn't drafted and then Edmonton signed him last year. Maybe something we don't know? Tyrone Pierre national #73, is big and strong looking and appears to have good hands and is fast enough caught virtually everything thrown his way Brendon Thera-Plamondon national also did not look out of place Corey Washington #6 Int...Looks very good and made some nice catches. Looks like we let the right Washington go Myles White Int #14 is really quick and has excellent hands, defensive backs would have hands full with him, sort of like a dressler type Drew Wolitarsky #82 national...looks much improved from last year, rooting for him. Didn't pay to much attention to the Qb's, but Strevelor is big and athletic and looks to have a quick release and strong arm. Ross looked good as well, will be interesting who plants themselves in the #2 spot. Also didn't pay too much attention to the D, but did see some nice interceptions and looks like there is plenty of speed. Only glad that Sam Hurl is gone, but if the defence runs the same way as last year, only improved skill levels from the defence will save the job of Richie Hall. Sorry I couldn't have done better but it was mostly a teaching practice
  13. Clarifications An earlier version of this story said that both Paul LaPolice and Richie Hall will return next season. The story has been amended to clarify that Paul LaPolice had signed a contract extension during the current season and Richie Hall also remains under contract for 2018, but Mike O'Shea didn't entirely rule out a change in the defensive co-ordinator position.
  14. Hmmm..."There's a way to maximize our takeaways and pressures and minimize the yards we give up"....if that's the case why didn't they do that all season?
  15. If you don't care what I am telling you...that simply means you think you are 100 percent correct, not willing to see other possibilities. No sense continuing because you are a 100 percenter!
  16. Ahh...I see you know exactly which route the receivers are running and whether it is correct or not! Point is you are blaming the receivers virtually all of them and I am telling you that it is on the QB as we haven't had one performing even close to Nichols in the last couple of weeks. Sure a receiver has a dropped ball now and then, but that happens to virtually all receivers in all games. Much easier for them to do that than forget how to run a route.
  17. Not true if the ball is nowhere near them...you're trying to tell me it is on the receivers? Give me a break! They suddenly forgot how to run routes and started dropping passes?
  18. Good grief! for the best part of the last two games we haven't had a real quarterback...and you want to criticize the receivers?
  19. Not when it only involves practice it doesn't...you are missing the point!
  20. Easy...there are practice player and game players...some are both...some are not
  21. Most ridiculous thread there has been for awhile
  22. Yes of course...11 wins and a wounded quarterback for 12 is not nearly enough!!!
  23. Yup...except he said that no ones really sees those things except for them. What a stupid thing to say...does he think everyone is so blind they can't see dropped passes and a defence which stinks?
  24. Surprisingly, there are no differences between a complete tear and a rupture. However, a tear can be partial or complete. An Achilles tendon injury, for instance, can be a tear or a rupture. This long tendon stretches from the heel bones up to the calf muscles.
