Special teams specialists. All apples. Woods is a receiver too. Have we used any DI's on offence? Didn't see Cotton out there last night. Is Unamba playing defense anymore? He was terrible in the first two games when he saw some snaps. He's basically a specialist now too. There are 4 DI's. A guy who does all returns should be pretty easy to fit on the roster, especially if special teams are a priority, which they should be. First and foremost, we need somebody who is going to make positive plays for us, first step in that regard is to secure the ball. It's too important to play around with. Calling Woods a one-trick pony was ignorant, completely disregarding the importance of special teams. Especially ignorant the day after a 1 point game in which 6 opposition points (which could have pretty easily been 14 given where the drives started) came directly as a result of flubbed punt returns. Woods is a terrible receiver... Unamba is an American who's only good at special teams coverage, which is more of an example of why we should get him off the roster. Stoudermire is a good returner, and is capable of filling in for Unamba as well as being a back up DB. Why would we need to back up receiver with a DI when we have good Canadian receivers? We have zero good Canadian RB's and frankly, Cotton looked a hell of a lot better than Woods on KR's anyway. Why waste a DI spot on woods when we can have just as good returning and add better depth to the roster as well? You obviously weren't at training camp and have no idea what you're talking about in relation to Woods! He caught everything thrown to him in TC! What an ignorant comment! Because catching passes in practice against a bunch of DBS who aren't even in the league is just a phenomenal accomplishment. And he was also far from consistent from what I heard correctly.. Were you at every single practice? I was at most and you obviously weren't at any! Trying to defend your ignorant statement with hearsay has no value! I don't even feel I need to defend it because I see it as total truth. You really think woods would be of any use to us at receiver in a real game against starting caliber defensive backs in this league? Just because he caught a few balls against some no name DBS that I can't even remember there names in PRACTICE, does not mean he is a good receiver... Sorry to burst your bubble You haven't and can't!

I don't think coaching staffs ALWAYS assume an import will perform better. I think they simply want to put in what they consider to be the best player considering the circumstances. That's Wylie's call! I also don't think that Etch thinks that way!

Washington should only be used for kickoffs not punts. That was the case last year as well!

I don't think it's just you.... yes he's always been known as "Thick Nick" but this year he just looks plain fat and slow.... not sure he ever really got into "shape" after the injury... If you take into account their relative size, a guy like Dan Knapp is in significantly better shape than Nik Lewis Dan Knapp looks real athletic for an OL... Yeah, that's the point... an o-lineman should never look/be more fit/athletic than a receiver... What? Who ever told you that? I would much rather have an athletic lineman than a behemoth like the Lions had at tackle last game who can hardly move.

Kinda sounds like you're talking about yourself Nate

I was waiting for someone to say this. The video really isn't that impressive when you consider what the average professional QB should be able to throw. And which ones can? Not all of them that's for sure!

Less Suber is better. I'm not a fan. He's just too short. he's a far better tackler than many!

Willy might need to learn how to smile instead of playing it Buster Keaton deadpan, especially for those radio interviews. Drew sounds just right to me!

Not even so much as having a finding another Canadian .. It's about better protection overall and keeping Willy healthy and upright. We haven't exactly faced dominating front sevens the last two weeks and Willy has taken a bit of a beating. As far as I'm concerned, after considering the ratio .. the best five guys play .. I'd hate to ruin a young quarterback's confidence because he can't trust the guys in front of him .. beyond that I'd hate to see a shoulder destroyed because we aren't able to protect our passer .. We're seeing injuries take their toll on Lulay .. We've already watch Khari's career end prematurely because we didn't protect him in the pocket .. Lulay hurt his should running for a first down...not getting sacked by lack of protection

You have got to be kidding...our O line is much improved. Guess you didn't pay too much attention when Greaves got hurt, and then January for a spell.

I don't have kids, want kids or even really like kids, and with that said, your ignorance is absolutely astounding. Well that is a bit rude calling it ignorant. Do you feel the same way when everyone says the same thing? or just me? Cause I think it's safe to say everyone in professional sports feels the same way. The kid was born last week not yesterday. We are learning lots about Mike O'Shea. If he doesn't comment he probably agrees. And MOS didn't come out and say it was ok for him to miss the game. He even said last week that ''OH BRYANT WILL BE HERE OF COURSE'' so you know MOS is upset with him. Troll...

Insurance costs money...whether you need it or not.And actually in the long run they will end up saving money...by not having to pay his full salary for 18 games. But you're paying another guy to take his spot, likely a cheaper import. So it evens out in the end.No it doesn't...you just said it a cheaper import...so how does that even it out? My guess is they'll make up at least the 60 g's Because we already paid Banks $60k. $60k + $60k = $120k, which was Banks salary for the full season.huh? What don't you understand? It's not complicated. We already paid Banks $60k as his signing bonus. That money is gone. Banks salary for the year was $120k. We already gave him half that in the form of a signing bonus. Let's say his replacement is a cheap import making $60k this season. $60k plus $60k = $120k. No money saved, it's a break even. Well seeing as you MUST make your point...and seeing as you have access to all the contracts and details including incentives...You MUST be right!
