Managing a team or business is not about any form of dictatorship. We played that song with Mack and a CEO that knew nothing about football. We don't need another dictatorship here at what is a higher level. We need a cooperative collection of skilled, qualified people. People hired to do a job. Not hired to be told their job and be micromanaged.

Don't blame scouting for bad selections. You put recommendations on the table and the GM asks for a bowl of crap.

Is that like time to get drunk? People continue to complain about scouting? What talent area do you think we were lacking in? Don Mathews mantra...but players in a situation to be successful. That was a problem. You can't call Canadian talent a scouting problem. That was a GM draft choice issue. He continued to ignore draft input and recommendations from Dyce, Hodgkinson and Walters. That was the problem with scouting there.

He didn't play because he can't catch any other reason is perhaps secondary. I'd say Wally already got more out of that deal in one game.

Word is the new GM will make that decision. Way to leave the guy dangling in the wind.

We can only hope Bellefuille or LaPo get the HC job in Ottawa.

Look at Toronto's roster. Part of the rational is to put PR players on the active roster thereby activating their contracts and having them then signed for the subsequent season. They otherwise become FAs after a team's last game.

And all this takes place before a GM is formally hired? Dunnigan makes less sense than Duane Forde ....when he was HC in Calgary he never even has a formalized play book the players said. This is hype over substance and shades of Reinbold.

Perhaps the bank and government might have some say if they default on an agreement.

Perhaps you might investigate Dale Dreiger's contribution to that company. As it seems to be that in too many instances exposure overshadows contribution. Sorry Dale.
