I would suggest that the Mike Riley trade was made on the basis that a Edm had permission to talk to Riley and a contractual agreement was in place. Given Henoc's agent and his possible desire to go south I doubt that would happen in this situation. He wants to be a pure FA and will wait.

Why would Ottawa take Henoc. He clearly will not sign before Feb. 15th so they can get him them if they want to pay the price and not waste a pick in the expansion draft.

The biggest criteria for OTs in the CFL are excellent feet and long arms due to the smaller quicker rush ends in the CFL. So start scouting.

January is at best the equivalent of a non import tackle in the CFL.....an import tackle needs to be a dominant player.

The irony is most people think that first and foremost the most important criteria for the GM is player personnel. Murphy is good at that. As someone indicated given someone with experience and a solid ops background it might be a good solution.
