Well everyone wants someone with experience and everyone is having a challenge really formulating a list. So what's or who is it going to be?

Burke wanted Buck in the off season because no HC in his right mind wants to start a season with an all inexperienced QB staff. It was clear Mack was doing nothing to change that situation. Goltz was Mack's project, Crowton didn't like Elliott because of his "bad work habits" ......the only thing bad was Elliott had long figured out Crowton and the fact that he had no clue.....hence no respect ....and Crowton won that battle. I wonder how Joey's work habits are in BC with Wally watching?

I think the better point of that article and the article in the Sun on the weekend was the fact that the current governing process of the WFC is significantly flawed and needs to be dismantled.

I don 't care if it is Asper and Dunn and the rest of the baker's dozen or Mikey Mouse and Goofy until you eliminate that volunteer board of self appointed , self serving individuals nothing is going to change. If no one else can figure it out at some point the true landlord, the government will.

Well then I guess there must be some belief somewhere that amongst the rest perhaps there is some truth.

Wally has demonstrated a history in identifying and developing QBs. I am curious why he sees something in Elliott that so many posters and people in Winnipeg do not? He could easily and otherwise have someone else as a developmental QB other than Elliott could he not?

Because Pedersen is from Regina people want to simply dismiss what he has said? I am not sure that is a good reason. Like Madani and Lawless these guys all have sources in and around the CFL. It is a small league and the interconnections between teams are significant. Perhaps there is more fact than fiction in what he says.

LaPo a) wanted people he believed were good teachers, people you he likely thought he could mould or like Baressi would be good worker bees. I believe LaPo may be a good coach at the college level but he failed to understand the mentality and the culture in the locker room.

I'll tell u what when Lawless tells who it was on the BoD that told him I'll tell you. Because in the big picture it really doesn't matter who tol me or how I know nor does it matter if you believe me.

He is under contract until Jan. 31st. So he can't bad mouth anybody. And if you still think LaPo brought him in ....good for you. If you ask nicely I 'll tell u who LaPo wanted and maybe you will start to understand.

Another of Mack's bungles.....people can say what they want but Crowton was Mack's find....he then sold him to LaPo and he was dumb I enough to buy it....be it a sales job or pressure...same result.

Etienne will end up going to Sask as a FA....now more than ever that Bagg is down and likely done in Sask.

The other problem is huge cost overruns and items that were not accounted for in the IGF budget has significantly but a strain on whatever reserves the Club had accumulated under Bauer.

Bauer would be an excellent choice to get this place in order. The problem is some of the egos on the Board aren't happy that left because of their desire to interfere. We are now living with the results of that. Buchko, Mack.....and counting
