At some point we need to realize that officials work in real time, often in the line of fire. After having the opportunity to do the extensive review the opportunity to fine becomes more realistic and practical.

Well all the Coaches on here seem to want the green rookie to play. Everyone’s favourite the back up QB and the back up goalie...until you get a steady diet of it.

It is hard to coach around that...particularly when you repeatedly leave him in games.

I would like to see QB stats revised. A clearing catchable ball that is dropped should not be an incompletion on the QB, how about an E “error” to the WR. Also a ball tipped by the WR again, that was catchable, that is then intercepted.....why should that go against the QB?

The difference being historically a Paul Jones success goes back to his original days n the Peg in the 80’s. He actually finds players.....this crew ?

Not sure that your laying the foundation theory holds up. Historically when there is a regime change the next people in want to hire their own people. I’m not sure who the worthy survivors are from this crew.

The Cap is the Cap...some times the issue becomes overpaying for FAs and not having enough entry level players that save you money....the cheap reputation goes back to time when the Club literally had no money and was on the brink of extinction.

All you have done is reinforce the fact that this organization failed to hire qualified, experienced people.

Well if, heaven forbid MOS is given a chance to fire both coordinators to save his own butt.....the only guys that are going to take the job are the ones that figure they get the HC job when the inevitable happens and MOS walks the blank.

Give them time? This isn’t an apprentiship program. That is conceiding that you hired a group of unqualified people.

It’s always about depth.....Ralph was like...Kamaul Petersen....Adarius Bowman....and every other guy that has good and brutally bad seasons....Neufeld is a depth guy you hope you never have to play but can’t replace.

Instead we can start Neufeld....there’s an upgrade.

Stats? Who gives a rats ass about stats? It’s about wins.....over the past years this team has piled up garbage yards when games were out of reach.....show me the wins.

Ironically people loved to dump on Taman and he virtually used his connections and part time scouts in the US. This team now has significantly more financial resources, more scouts, coaches and staff and what do they have to show in terms of results?

And did anyone expect otherwise? No need to commit now....or be perceived as throwing anyone under the bus.

It is interesting that people necessarily believe that being an Assitant Coach or a Co-Ordinator makes some one qualified to be a HC? The other interesting thing is how a name gets thrown around and it then develops traction. Why do HCs get recycled? Because the notion is they have experience and therefore it is less risk then rolling the dice on a new guy.

Every team in this league makes changes and dumps players because of the Salary Cap.....this league and every other league. Welcome to the world of attempting to create parity amongst the teams.

Does the Sask offence suck....absolutely......how many turnovers and points off of turnovers did Wpg have last year? How many games did Wpg have to kick 5 or 6 fgs to win last season.....better still the 88 and 90 Cup teams won because of their defences.

Not making any changes and hoping this team rebounds is not a plan.....if anything it is an indicator that you are afraid to make another mistake......not a good philosophy in sport or business. Remaining status quo only works when there is truly positive results. Ironically there will be those in Calgary that will want change if the Stamps don’t win the a Cup this year.....how funny is that. I’d trade our crew.....staff and players for theirs in a minute. Hate Sask and Hamilton all you want but they made changes and have demonstrated improvement in a lot less time. Heaven forbid if that gong show in Montreal does better than Winnipeg. Some who don’t advocate changes are the same people who want to change QBs and tie the future of this team on a rookie....how ironic is that?

There is the issue.....you can’t get rid of a player or coach if there is no one in place to replace them. Heads can’t roll without another neck ready to wear the noose.

I’m not concerned about the so called type of coach...hire someone who is well enough connected to then hire a good qualified staff

We can only hope that if LaPo gets gunned somebody is stupid to hire him be it as a OC or even better as HC
