Well stated. .......I think the bigger issue with the defence is a greater pressure on opposing QBs from the front 7

Fans being just that "fans" will always manage to find members of the media to dislike and they can also justify that dislike. The easiest explanation for that is simply the difference between the words subjectivity and objectivity.

If you had the opportunity to witness some of last nights playoffs, when was the last time the Jets had the level of goaltending that was seen in some of those playoff games? Their current group isn't at that level.

The patience of Job? How about what Bomber fans have lived through in recent history?

Ironically, Kevin McDonald has been running the CFL Football Ops Dept for the longest time and done an outstanding job. But as he has always been a quiet behind the scenes guy his contributions to the league go unnoticed and un rewarded. Hopefully he stays put or the league would be in trouble. Make whomever you like Comish. The owners ultimately drive that bus as evidenced by how they burn through commissioners. The last true functional Commisioner was Jake .

It would be interesting to know what the actual corresponding sales numbers are that go with the rankings.

Basically, Clemmons was President of the Argos for 11 months , CEO for about the same length of time. And although he remains in their employment , he is a brand ambassador , all be it a good one for the team. As to his academic qualifications ? Like the majority of NCAA student athletes one might question if football 001 was perhaps priority one. He might be a great frontman and recognizable face for the CFL but with falling ratings will that be enough?

Make Scotty Bowman Head Coach and at the end of 2018 everyone will be screaming for his firing. Without a front line goaltender this team is going nowhere. I don't care who the coach is!

CFL Commisioner is a thankless job where the private owners continually drive the bus. Pinball Clemmons as Commisioner? Sure if you want a familiar face and someone to be a cheerleader, shake hands and kiss babies maybe. What makes him qualified to run a business. Sport or not the CFL is after all just that a business and requires an individual qualified to run it.

Mike Miller is a quality depth add. The irony is in his draft year Joe Mack, in his wisdom wouldn't even add his name to the draft list. Miller has since proven his value as a ST contributor.

Like it or not in professional sport....any professional sport durability is a requirement. Bad luck or the often over used, inaccurate term of being "injury prone" aside. If you don't prove yourself to be durable with limited depth and rosters you become a liability. Case in point might be the example of Neufeld. -

For all those that jumped on me for asking a question about the National WR depth.....forgive me but it was in fact a question....and not a statement. I am not familiar with the National WR depth chart, I was a fan of Kohlert and even though he struggled last season I was disappointed to see him go and wish him well. He is a quality guy and think he can still contribute to a team. -

Is there no a concern about the depth or lack there of at the National WR spot? -
Too early to tell on his tenure. Glad handing is great but the win loss record still remains the barometer in the football business.

8 other teams will be happy if he starts somewhere. As good as he was he is done. Now he immediately thinks he can be a pro coach? -
At some point teams need to do a reality check.....roll up their sleeves and go scout some players. Younger, less expensive and hungry.

Mack had nothing to do with the Cap in Wpg so he would have no clue in Mtl......no surprise. -

Remember Ottawa freed up all that cap space with Burris retiring -

Nelson's system might have been better but if you look at teams with high sack totals it is often a result of the combination of players that form the front 7. -

Not surprising that Sask CEO Reynolds apparently offered up a no comment to the allegations. -

Dressler was on the neg list in Wpg. BT needed a neg list spot and took Dressler off. It just so happened when Dressler was at a Div 2 all star game in Texas and Sask was there scouting and immediately added him when they saw him there. -

Sholugun and likely Cummings should be casualties of little bang for the buck. -

We need to stop overpaying for FA that are at the end of their shelf life and go out and actually scout some D lineman. -
Lulay wanted to stay in BC and agreed with n a contract that both he and the Lions could live with. He provides proven winning experience and it would seem he is a great mentor for their younger QBs. Likely transitioning into a coaching position down the line.
