Face facts there are those here that believe that Hurl is a front line MLB and those that thing otherwise. There is no belief that any explanation here is going to change anyone's opinion. Is that a fair assessment?

Perhaps the guy telling him to do that has a clear understanding of his limitations and is attempting to put him in a situation that he can contribute.

Bias....then perhaps you can list specifically the accomplishments of Miller that I should be gushing over.

What should they do? Have a plan, that given the way the season has gone should basically be formulated. Execute ( literally) that plan at the immediate conclusion of the season. Then actively pursue any and all candidates for whatever positions that need to be filled. I like Doublezero have concerns about the lack of expertise and experience as it relates to anything to do with offence. Hiring and keeping MB and their failure to secure an adequate back up QB.

What has Miller done? A blind squirrel could have moved into a brand spanking new stadium and sold rotten chestnuts. Nobody gets owed anything by the NHL. It is their world. The soccer deal was already done and basically they rented the facility and did things exactly the way they wanted. So hand over the keys to Miller or whoever you wanted to drive the shiny new car and see if it gets driven into the ground.

Buyer beware. If Winnipeg ends up in the hiring lottery again, be it HC, and OC they may end up competing against Sask and Mont for coaches. Hopefully they have a decisive plan so that they aren't again feeding off the scraps leftover from other teams. Or we then become the Waste Management team again with the likes of Etch and MB.

The LBs 3-4 yds off the LOS can see the play develop, be far enough off lineman trying to get to the second level to block them and then scrape to the play with momentum "down hill". Hurl lined up on the butt of the DL gets caught in the first level traffic and has no down hill momentum. If he is anywhere near the play to make the tackle he then is being dragged back by the momentum of the ball carrier for additional yardage. Not a very effective way to play MLB.

The rules now protect the long snapper. You can't line up and hammer him any more.

Hall didn't make a Hurl a starter in Sask. Perhaps Hall knew he wasn't one.

The defence did play better granted. But when the opposition's offence turns to a more conservative game plan it also contributes to a more effective defence does it not? The fact remains that the a Bombers have failed to play 60 minutes of quality football in a number of games.

Sadly there are those that wish to believe that black players can't play in the cold as well. Just an unfortunate reality that rascism remains a serious problem in today's society.

Again the score was flattering. Ottawa shutdown there passing game in an effort to play safe and use up the clock believing that there was insufficient time for Winnipeg to erase the deficit. Calgary did exactly the same thing against Winnipeg and it almost cost them the game. I was surprised at Dickenson's similar play selection at the end of that game. It just distorts the picture and compiles misleading garbage yards in the stats.

How does anyone here have any real indication of the size of Glenn's hands let alone anything related to his anatomy?

There was no danger that whoever the third stringer was that he would get into the game. He could have worn his pjs to the game. Some of his teammates did.

It would seem person opinions vary on this topic. Not sure that simply stating it makes it a fact.

The fact remains that trying to micro analyze the shortcomings of this team is variable from play to play and game to game. Clearly it remains for a macro evaluation of all aspects of this organization at the end of the season. Hope and pray it actually happens.

Is it safe to say that Davis isn't "game ready" yet?

Never mind worrying about cranking it up into playoff mode this team has been challenged to crank it up for an entire 60 minutes in some games. Why does this notion of extrinsic motivation always seem to come up?

Never mind where the stage is going, have they announced who is going to be performing on it yet?

Him signing does not necessarily mean it is for more than this year. There is no longer an option year attached.
