Sooner or later the finger pointing will start and the blame game. At some point it will tip urn into CYA time and then someone will finally be held accountable. Take your pick Miller, Walters or O'Shea. The hall pass usually starts at the top and then works it's way down.

Sadly average offence seems to have become the norm this season.

The reality is there are more options and competition for people's disposable-entertainment dollar. You better have a good product or people won't buy it. If you build it they will come only has so much shine and only lasts so long.

Not sure how you can advocate increasing the non import ratio? Clearly teams are struggling to find non imports already. The season isn't half over and this problem is only going to get worse. You want to make the CFL a glorified CIS? Attendance is already a concern due to what some consider a sloppy inferior brand of football.

If you want to compare tackles perhaps you also need to compare time of possession , number of snaps that each player is on the field, total yardage given up and anything else that provides too many extra opportunities to have to make a tackle.

The REAL MLB in this league are dominant players. They are leaders by their example.....they become infectious and their enthusiasm spreads amongst their teammates.

The secondary may have improved but without an adequate pass rush and with the new rules on contacting WRs it has made pass coverage all that more difficult.

I wonder if Picard can snap his fingers? He can't shotgun a snap worth a hoot. Put a stamp on the ball it would get to the QB faster.

I find it strange that people even want to grant Neufeld "starter" status. I would be inclined to declare Picard and Neufeld biggest bust signings.

The cream rises to the top. The problem being when it seems like journeymen plays like Thomas may appear to be one of our better players what does that say about the play of the rest of the D line?

Interesting how far Bucknor seems to have fallen from the good graces of this site. Last season people were raving about him. It's easy to isolate on the play of a corner when so much of his responsibility is based on one on one coverage. Very similar to constantly blame a goalie in hockey when a goal is scored. What about all of the other failures that might have contributed. In football a weak pass rush that fails to put pressure on the QB, or a defencmen that coughs up a puck for a breakaway.

Well everyone here continues to point out there repeated concerns about ST so is it the horse or the jockey?

You also have a starting QB on the mend. A new starter that is likely going to play a significant number of games and then headed to become a FA and a new number 3 that this site has exiled to the refuse dump. Is that further cause for concern?

Not sure how you can say MB is a separate issue? It is try Miller brought MB in. Who decided to keep him now is something someone needs to be accounted for. And then you have an HC who is trying to learn how to be an HC and he then brings in his rookie buddy to be ST coordinator. There are a lot of question marks associated with this organization.

Interesting what little drop off when your replacement is Bighill. Imagine the tragedy if a Bombers were to lose an all star like Hurl? Heavens the drop off might be O'Shea coming out of retirement.

A player has to agree to being placed on the injured list. A team can't stash a player there unless he agrees to it. But then why walk away from a game cheque.

Tough one. Sometimes players truly need to be gagged for their own good. A friend of mine has a good philosophy. If you want to send out an email or social media post that is perhaps sensitive? Save it for 24 hours review again and then decide if you really should send it.

Both teams may continue to struggle through the duration of the season. The true test will be if either team seems to show improvement in all facets of the game and to see what they do in an effort to upgrade their personnel.
