I might suggest that based on what happened with injuries to QBs this year the best predictor as to success in 2015 is a team's Experienced QB depth. Currently you would have to rank it as Calgary, Edmonton, and then toss a coin as the experience level has a huge drop off.

Now that we have the Grey Cup out of the way ...

Other teams have demonstrated that they needed to make changes in their staffs. The purge will continue in Sask. When will Winnipeg step up? -
Popp has continually demonstrated the ability to find players.

So when do you think Miller and Walters might push for changes? Because in a blink of an eye their butts will be on the line as well. -
Having officiated a number of sports I often found people would suggest that I was more biased against the "home team". Perhaps unconsciously not wanting to be accused of being a "homer". I find Bradbury to be one of the top referees and was hoping he would get the Cup. I guess he has to still pay his dues in the seniority game.

If Proulx shows bias for Montreal I guess the Quebec contingent might say the same about Bradbury and Wade's brother Ritchie showing bias for Winnipeg....

Calgary wins the Cup. Huf moves upstairs to GM and Dickenson becomes HC. Dickenson has turned down interviews for HC jobs because he has witnessed others jumping into bad situations just to become a HC.

And the extend of Garcia's actual coaching experience is?

Grey Cup week moratorium on announcements. Stay tuned to next week for more of nothing from the Bombers. -

This is professional sport. Hiring a "friend" is all well and good but clearly the nature of the business dictates that there is I high probability that at some point one better be able to distinguish where friendship ends and what is best for an organization takes precedence. -
Do you see the Bombers making big splashes to make the 2015 G.C. ?

Before Neufield is penciled in at any spot other then the training room his battle is to get on the field. Sorry sports fans right now he is guilty until proven otherwise. -
The consensus here is You better be able to find import WR...Popp seems to be able to do. Some might argue the same for import OTs but we have failed there as well. If you are going to buck up for FAs it should really be to seriously upgrade non import talent...most notably the O line. Playing 3 at best average imports on the O line should never happen. The honeymoon on this crew is over, blaming previous organizational hires better be over as well.

The difference now with FA is given there are no option year clauses in contracts it may become more prudent for GMs to insist on multi year contracts. -
Or how about just continuing to win games.

Well given that defence doesn't give away the ball on turnovers and ST and O does then the defence automatically is at an advantage as statistically speaking turnovers are one of the best indicators as to the outcome of a game. -

And you can probably list games where you could say that Special Teams contributed towards a loss. The fact remains that every facet of a team game needs to be evaluated and stand or fail on the merits of their contribution to a game. -
Sask needs to change snap count. Edm is anticipating snap

So who are you blaming ? Etch or Kuale for doing as he was instructed based in the design of the defense.. -
O'Shea would have to be a better alternative to Etch. Jones does it in Edm. It shouldn't be , oh we can only replace one or the other....it should be a do what you need to do for the betterment of the team.
-
Does not playing a healthy Sears constitute not having healthy starters? Does having to wait for a healthy Kuale to get hurt constitue not attempting to correct that problem?
-
Etch was living proof that history does repeat itself. People figure out how to game plan against in the pass and the same thing happened this go round.
-
Gibson was in over his head......same as when he was OC here. Nice guy....but but but
-
Etch wants in run a 2 level defense that leaves the LBs either on or too close to the LOS and too easily blocked. The opposing RBs are then into the secondary for the DBs to make the tackle after significant yardage gained. Most other teams seemed to think that a 3 level system leaves the LBs better protected and in a position to scrap and make the tackle after a slight gain.

Joey ended up if the Ottawa roster and remains there. If he was on their PR Edm could have signed him.
