The interference rule was instituted in an effort to improve the game. As with all rules perhaps it will again be changed. We are dealing with a judgement call that is judgementally reviewed. Why can't people except that fact and move on? They didn't introduce the rule to try and deliberately screw teams.

No coach is going to say his starting QB is out at this point in the week. Nor does he have any idea until the next day. Then he can say whatever he likes the true test will be at practice.

Any if those players that were under contract in the CFL had to clear waivers prior to being released to go to the NFL. CFL teams could have claimed them prior to clearing waivers and therefore prohibit their going immediately to the NFL. If a player is suspended and a team subsequently releases him he is a free agent and not under contract. It is at the team's discretion if they choose to retain a suspended player or release him. A player on a CFL suspended player remains suspended until Feb 15th when the is removed from the suspended list and becomes a free agent.

Nate's dislike for Bauer is well documented. Bauer did however reserect the team from death row. Miller is in fact in Asper's back pocket and the notion of some nickel buyout on the buck may not be ridiculous but likely not going to happen. True North and The Thompson ownership group may be the only ones with enough nickels.

Figure it out.....this started when Bell didn't get the Pres job and Mack and Buchko got hired. If people haven't figured it out the"W" no longer stands for Winnipeg...it stands for Wade. If people aren't concerned they should be.

Calf injury isn't great. Critical for an o lineman is the ability to push off

More bone head calls or no calls by Higgins....3rd and 2 at midfield and yo don't punt and pin the team deep and the failed no challenge flag on an obvious missed PI call. Higgins is over his head and needs to go.

This is just a cruel reminder of the serious lack of NIP depth and available players in the CFL. Sadly this sort of resurrection from the dead will continue as the season continues and injuries continue to mount up.

And Bowman on January should make us feel a lot better ?

Another cruel reminder that you really can never have enough experienced depth at the QB position.

So does this mean John Bowman is potentially going to get to feast on Howard and risk having Willy be the next QB on the IR?

Logic would dictate that regardless of the call 50% of the time some fan will be pissed off by the decision. Hence the phrase black and white and never right.

It's always easy to officiate from the couch.....same goes for the armchair coaches

The issue with the PI call isn't the fact that it was called on review, it is the fact that similar plays in other games that should have also been called upon review were not.

Most coaches taking over a team with 3 wins would suggest that the record is not the critical element at this stage. Their mantra is often "a team needs to continue to show improvement and progress each game" . The concern here is that this team is not necessarily doing that.

Don't be too quick to write off the ALS either. This game is shaping up between too inept offensive teams....each for their own reasons. But ALS defensively have been equally aggressive pressuring the QB. Now teams have the luxury of game video on teams and their weaknesses. The element of surprise is gone and game scheme and preparation is starting to make a difference.

Wetenhall has poured a ton of money into that franchise when it was on life support. Get serious or that team would have been long gone

NFL scouting doesn't do anything to solidify Nationals on the o line.

I'm betting January gets a hangnail and goes on the one game injured so he doesn't have to play against Chick again. January had to practice against Chick one year when they played together in Sask. January likely had no lunch money and a dirty diaper everyday.
