Maurice seems pretty adamant about Roslo being a RW on the big club. You have to wonder how he's going to get time at C when we're healthy. Considering he's on the wing now & we're down Scheifs & Lowry. I'd flop Roslovic with Perreault and roll your lines. -
Sounds to me it's just more of a secured timeslot. Similar to having Gabe Morency from MTL on every Thurs (?) or Hacksaw Hamilton from San Diego on every Friday. Dreger seems to be on > 1/week. Which isn't a bad thing.

It all comes down to the way teams are built in the salary cap era. I'm far from the first to have the theory that there's 3-5 elite teams, 3-5 awful teams and 20+ that are virtually interchangeable. Been like this for a few yrs already. Makes for parity, or better, the appearance of parity. Gone are the days where a #1 seed was an overwhelming fave over #8.

Jets match up pretty well with all Central teams not from Tennessee. I'd like our odds against any of 'em, especially with home ice.

Top 10 Greatest Bomber Moments of All Time
Jimmy Pop replied to TrueBlue4ever's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Not sure how the 2009 Grey Cup doesn't qualify. They call that look "The Fotty" -
'tis. I think one of Trouba or Buff would be likely. I saw at least one publication (Athletic? Maybe SI?) that had Armia on FIN's 4th line. Ah thinking more about it, wouldn't affect us as much as maybe in 4 years time? Add Connor, maybe Roslovic to team USA. Perhaps Morrissey to Team Canada. Vesalainen? No one but Wheeler coming out of a lineup.

The selfish-only-caring-about-the-Jets part of me is actually glad NHLers aren't going. How many Jets would be headed overseas come February? Winnipeg has no luck in sports; I'd almost to be too worried about potential injuries to enjoy the hockey.

Poll Answer: pissed I'm having to pick between the two.

I read this as Armia's comments, and thought he was a little out of his element to comment on team names.

Someone like Stegall would be the true test. Universally beloved in this town. Also in a sport that's predominately black.

THIS IS AWESOME!

Durant tossing a few TDs to Dressler in a already-decided game vs the Riders would make me Having to rely on Durant & Dressler this year would have me

The day after the Jets thump them.... with Myers, Armia and Lemieux watching. Ya almost feel sorry for Sabres fans.

Anthony 'Marko Dano' Duclair

Few guys more deserving in the league than our #26. Happy for Helle too..... though gots to think it doesn't help us come contract time.
-
I'd have said the same about Tanev too.....back in October. League's leader in hits before he got hurt isn't just skating all over the place. He's our best forechecker & very responsible in his own zone. Maybe most importantly...esp if comparing to Dano, Tanev's got that "give an F" factor. Dude works his tail off. Fairly or unfairly, that's a knock on Dano at this point. The way we're playing, I'm a firm advocate for as little change as possible when healthy. Roslo ain't being wasted in the A at 20 yrs old. Maurice will run the lineup he thinks gives him best chance at W's. Based solely on this year, who are we to argue?

Manitobans are lucky to have such great camp spots all over the province. I'm the son of teachers, so barely spent any summertime in the city growing up & while it's tougher to do that now as I get older, still like to give it an effort. Last year was mostly my regular spots; Camp Morton north of Gimli, Caddy Lake, big Whiteshell seasonals & annual fishing expedition out at Shoe Lake. This year, more of the same, only I've got a friend's wedding in Jasper - - great excuse to see that beautiful part of the country! And actually... part of the reason i made this post; I had no idea some National Parks are open for reservations this soon in 2018!! If you've never been to Shoe Lake, give it a go. Backcountry. Boat to site...which is it's own island. Absolute paradise.

If you're like me, you count down to summer for BOMBERS football.... but also for CAMPING season! Can't wait to get outside again! This week & next week online reservations OPEN for National Parks. I just scored my crew 5 nights at Wapiti, Jasper for August Long Weekend.... woot woot. Funny, by the time my reservation was confirmed, tons of Aug long bookings were made. Plus the site I scored is now booked for virtually all July & Aug. So... get on it, people! It'll be warm out before we can say, "the Oilers have been eliminated from playoff contention!". Alright...maybe it won't be THAT warm in February
