This one I'm not sure I get from Vegas' side. They must think they can do better than Dumba & Scandella on D.

Mayweather may UNretire to fight Mcgregor

The only sure thing of this fight: it's going to massively underwhelm the fight fans, and be even worse for casual fans. -
Just disgusting. How in the F did the jury acquit!? That's murder. ... and the cops excuse? He smelt "burnt marijuana" and was concerned for the child's welfare. Yeah, please protect society from the horrors of pot smoking. Much safer to commit murder and have kid grow up without a dad.

Finally, finally starting Better Call Saul now. Finished first ep of new season last night. Easily one of my top 10 favourite shows ever - just so clever. I've been running an outdated XBMC on my laptop for so long and had abandoned tv watching on it in favour of Netflix & sports. Now trying again. I guess I should just upgrade to Kodi or get a box and step up my game!

And the nonsensical, also negative, reply to that comment was by a SlipperyDee. I had more faith in ya @Mr Dee! -

Even the oddsmakers are giving us no love. 8th of 9 teams, and 0.5 wins better than SSK?! -
I for sure saw a credible source on twitter last night saying with certainty that a player can waive his NMC for the expansion draft only. Can't find it now of course. So no help, am I.

That's how he pronounced it! Hahaha I get it's the "right" way. But if you're anglophone it sounds silly. -

True story: at our preseason game guy in front of me in line asked if their putin had cheese and gravy. ... I'm thinking, "no genius, it's fries and ketchup". -

An underrated point not everyone is talking about. I hate it too...but he's just such a good fit for them. High salary to get to the floor in year 1, but no term so they're free in 12 mths, worst case Ontario. Best case, some trigger happy GM sends them a 1st.

Enstrom is worth more than Dano, and it's really not even close. Another case of Winnipegitis, where we over or under value a player because they are in our market and we watch them so closely. Enstrom is a top 4 NHL defenseman with plenty of experience. A crap year from him last season and he still logged 22 mins/night. Go scout other teams D pairings from last season - I'd wager Toby fits in a top 4 for at least 5-10 teams and is certainly a top 6 for at least 2/3 of the league. Dano is still nothing but potential, not to mention possibly going to his 4th organization before turning 23. That says something to me. Enstrom would be attractive to Vegas because he steps in game 1 and eats minutes. Come trade deadline, they cut bait and get a pick and/or prospect for him. I suppose Toby could say no to Vegas and retire - but somehow I doubt he'd throw away all that cash.

"Barring a major surprise, the Ducks don’t count on losing Vatanen or Manson. Ducks general manager Bob Murray is believed to have worked out a deal with the Golden Knights so that neither will be selected by them. Vegas will reveal its picks during the NHL’s awards show Wednesday night." http://www.ocregister.com/2017/06/18/ducks-leave-sami-vatanen-josh-manson-available-for-nhl-expansion-draft/

My guesstimate of a realistic / favourable Golden Knights roster. Eaves from ANA because I think there's a deal to not take Vatanen or Manson. I believe there's picks coming to VGK to take Lethonen (DAL) and Kruger (CHI). I believe Minny has a deal done to keep Dumba This would likely be a mid-range cap team in 2017/18, but the players under contract goes from 19 this season to 10 in 18/19 - I think that would be favourable. They'd have solid pieces that could be moved now - Raanta or Grubauer and a defenseman. They'd have solid pieces that may be attractive come trade deadline - Plekanec, Lethonen, Boedker. In addition to the picks they already own, + acquired picks for above-mentioned & well-rumoured deals, they set up remarkably well for the next 3-5 years. Other than the Jets 'cuz I love them, VGK is the team I most look forward to watching the next few years.

Huge props to Enstrom for doing us a solid. We look as well set as anyone in the league and don't stand to lose a real valuable player. McPhee has said he'll talk to every team prior to making each selection, that coupled with Toby's comments about how much he likes it here tells me there's a very slim chance he'd be taken even if Vegas wanted him. Of the guys who have been exposed, many are rumoured to have side deals already in place to not be selected. I don't see Vegas getting Vatanen, Manson, Mrazek, Marchessault maybe even Raanta. Its going to be fascinating to see how much youth & picks Vegas can acquire by taking other's scraps with heavy deals. The next few draft boards are going to have a huge number of VGK picks, if they do it right. There's some real nice tendy's available... so I'm looking at losing Dano, then hopefully packing a prospect & pick for a G.

Thanks for the updates @TrueBlue! Looking forward to seeing them in person in mere minutes. An expanded and more affordable food selection is appreciated. Really hoping the removed seats makes a big difference. Even at 80% capacity the congestion around the end zones was ridiculous in years past. Our 'big screens' have been the only thing that's always bugged me about IGF. They are a decent size but sooooo much wasted space in years past. When you account for the ads on either side, screen may as well be a 32 incher. LET'S GO BOMBERS! #ForTheW -

Coincidentally or not, 20 games that didn't matter either. I like Matty P - - but I think he gets a ton of love vs. what he actually provides. We're fawning over a guy who avgs 46 pts per 82, has never scored 20 and played 70 games in a year once. Our 6th most important FW, at best.
