Question For Anyone Who Has Purchased Heritage Classic Tickets
Jimmy Pop replied to Y2C's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
I'm in the exact same situation as you are. In fact if your initials are JJ, then we probably just discovered each other's names on MBB. I thought it was explained okay in the initial email... So there is no specific seat purchase, you're reserving a seat in that price category. And if both of you have completed the survey, you should be okay. Lastly, you've had that much trouble getting a hold of your rep? I've only had 2-3 instances in 5+ years - but they always called me back same day or next day if it was later. -
Royal Blue uniforms are officially back!!

I just got my call a few mins ago. Bomber store open late tonight until 8, then back to regular hours Weds & Thurs before gameday. Was asked to bring the yellow slip they gave - for those who ordered in store. Hope I can find it!! -
*No. More importantly, you're all taking the blame for his injury! *Officially not a response

Least surprising Jets news IMO. Pretty clear succession plan in the works for Helle and Comrie. Pavs as a backup this season or traded, and Hutch gets exposed on expansion draft. Only real question is where Hutch plays if Pavs isn't dealt.

Call it politically correct if you want, plenty call it being a decent ******* human being. Propaganda is calling this anything but a hate crime. Head in the sand, is better apt to describe those who can't ******* see America's problem with firearms. Comments like yours are the epitome of what's dividing our society; Outlandish claims that have no basis in fact, like your comments about labeling Christians. A complete lack of good faith discussion, as highlighted by you mocking Jacquie's comments as propaganda. And most importantly, a seemingly lack of empathy or understanding for what's actually taken place - 50+ LGBT gunned down by a hateful American with a legal firearm. Lastly, where does this ******* idea come from that the left/liberals etc don't appreciate the rise of extremism? B/c we're not all "Trump" about it? And more importantly, how does impending answer explain why it's a majority of Conservatives who don't want to keep legal firearms away from suspected terrorists.

(Dec2015) GOP blocks bill to stop terrorists from buying guns (Nov2015) NRA defends blocking bill to stop terrorists getting guns Please feel free to enlighten us on the "truth" anytime.

@Goalie I get what you're saying - but try being in the shoes of someone in the LGBT community. Particularly in states like Florida where gay bashing is popular. It sure as **** isn't irrelevant when a hate crime is involved. The 3 biggest factors based on what we know so far, IMO: 1. Extreme homophobia, as highlighted by perp's dad. 2. Easy, legal access to guns. 3. Possible extremist/terrorist ties. America can call this terrorism all they want. I sure hope they respond the same as 9-11, and rally to support the WHOLE country. Of course, that won't happen. The religious Right won't rally around the LBGT community...musn't be real Americans or something. This was an American, legally purchasing guns to commit a hate crime based on bigotry he developed in America. At the VERY least, it's domestic terrorism.

This guy is a must follow on Twitter right now. Dozens of politicians offering "thoughts and prayers" being shamed for taking NRA blood money. This us how change happens... Change the system...

Hey now, I quite like having an NHL team in Wpg again. You shush.

Let's murder the Als tonight! Preseason be damned!

In hindsight, this was something that I wrote and hit "submit reply" without really thinking it over. Unnecessary ****-stirring on my part. No disrespect intended.

TIL n***** baby okay on this forum. D.o.u.c.h.e however, not an acceptable term.

This is precisely what makes the Trouba trade speculation so ludicrous to me....if he wants too much money...if his demands are too high...if his agent is a ******....if he thinks LA is more appealing than Wpg. IFS, IFS, IFS... Here's what we do know: 2 relatively recent, and very comparable contracts signed were Morgan Reilly at 6 years, $5M AAV and Olli Maata at 6 years, $4.1 AAV. IF ALL GOES TO PLAN - hammer out a deal somewhere around those figures, and get to more pressing issues. Simple. Done. Sure, I expect Chevy and co. to be able to navigate through the finer details better than I. And perhaps it is: (too much $ demanded + no long term desire to be here + they don't like him) = trade. That whole conversation just seems way to speculatory at this point for my liking.

Around The League Off Season Discussion
Jimmy Pop replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Funny because this is likely the most reasonable things I've ever heard Pederson say, despite the lack of math skills. -
Well this guy is just excited to see some real football again! I made it down to the stadium for day 1 of TC - but this is a little closer to the real thing! Just hoping to see no players get injured, the starters on O move the ball and a few intriguing youngsters that have already been mentioned here; Corney, Loeffler, Waggoner etc. Oh and those jerseys, real excited to see those on the field for the first time. Probably no better place to put this for now, but for those STH attending the home opener on the 24th and curious how/if they'd follow the Jets and the draft: I tweeted at Darren Cameron and asked if the Bombers would have anything planned to at least show a snippet of Laine pulling on his Jets sweater, and here's his response: I'm a big fan of anything that can bring the Big Blue and Jets together. Just too big a hometown homer I suppose. But with an outdoor game at IGF this fall, this feels like the perfect time to create some more synergy between the two clubs.

general trade thread to spit ball ideas
Jimmy Pop replied to Ducky's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
...not to mention strengthening a division rival's weakest position. -
This fan would be pretty upset to see Trouba moved - unless the return is massive. For a draft and develop team, you don't move first round picks hastily. I think it would also signal a step back for the franchise, unless the add is a player better today than JT - why make the move? Why get worse now...especially with Laine, Connor and Helle about to come on board?
