Actual size (and definition) of the screen itself is what matters most to me. The "jumbotrons" at IGF really bother me, for a new stadium they seem real small and not that much bigger than Canad Inns.

Wouldn't surprise me to see a new Jets jersey before the bozos on Chancellor Matheson switch to Royal Blues full-time. The marketing staff is more concerned with paying fans who may boo the home team rather than the inferior product they peddle.

There is absolutely no doubt the team can afford long term deals for both Ladd & Buff. Whether they want to prioritize those 2 (particularly Buff) ahead of guys like Trouba & Scheifele is the real question.

Sign Buff. Unless it's a real outlandish deal, a trade down the road isn't out of the question anyways. Besides you'd think he has more value to another club with term left, rather than a pending UFA at season's end.

I wouldn't want that deal either, but Loui is far from a bad player. In fact, he could be a nice pickup as I bet he improves greatly getting out of Boston. In 4 years from '07-'11 in Dallas he missed 3 games total and averaged 70 points per season.

Buff to Bruins does seem to have some legs - getting mentions both here and in BOS. Most articles I've seen suggest Loui Eriksson could be a trade candidate. Erikisson, 1st & prospect. We have one already. Comrie, Eric. Comrie will probably play in the ECHL to get in as many games as possible. Really? That's the first I've seen that suggestion. For me, the talent drop off is too great there. Besides, in 4 seasons in the WHL he only averaged 42 games. To me, 30-34 starts in the AHL is better than 60 in the ECHL.

For the life of me, just don't get not even talking to Buff's agent. What does a lack of communication accomplish? Can we assume then that the Jets know exactly where he stands & that trade scenarios have been looked at all summer? 'Cuz if not, what the heck are we doing this offseason?

Important to remember: opening day lineup is never the same as the one you (hopefully) start the playoffs with. Chevy proved last season he'll act at the deadline to bring in rentals; no reason to believe he'd avoid doing the same in a similar situation this season.
