Interesting opinion. I'd say that you're highly overrating Manny, Fuller & Taylor. Even Carter hasn't performed like a tier one receiver this year and IMO that's not just because they don't have a QB.

This is great news. Kuale along with Howard and Romby have been our worst import players this year.I would suspect that Kuale doesn't see the field for us again barring injury but O'Shea does seems to love him.

Trestman picked Chris Williams over Dressler. I'd be very surprised if Weston got another shot anywhere else when he's eventually cut from the Chiefs. Hopefully he isn't back with the Riders until after the Banjo Bowl. I wouldn't mind us taking a run at Sheets if he's released by the Raiders.

If Ottawa has one decent receiver they win that game easily.

There was a point in time when I thought that we were set for a few years with Greg Carr and especially TJH. I thought TJH was going to be a star.

You must have been watching the Banjo Bowl from 2009 as I saw no ass-kicking going on last week. What I saw was a defense win the game for an offense that was getting its ass kicked. Obviously our defense was awesome, but we were completely manhandled in the trenches.

Those are two good points. We've had a plethora of import running backs come through our system this year though. There's no doubt they'll keep looking. The lack of a decent import receiver, linebacker and tackle is what really bothers me.

Interesting that Argos play at home both of their games during their short week, where we just played on the road for ours. The travel is exhausting on the players and it eliminates one practice day too. Teams on these short weeks should play both games at home IMO. The Riders came here on a short week and kicked our ass.

Since 1995 there has not been a team that has won 8 games that hasn't made the play-offs. The majority of those years have been with an eight team league. Edmonton and Calgary already have five wins while BC and Sask have four. Unless Edmonton completely falls apart and wins less than 3 games which at this point is highly unlikely, I don't see any of those teams finishing below .500.

There's zero chance we make the playoffs with eight wins. You guys seriously think any of Calgary, Sask, BC or even Edmonton is going to be worse than 9-9?

If Moore, Kelly or Denmark is ever hurt I'd start three Canadian receivers. JFG, Kohlert and Watson are all better than any of the other imports we have hanging around(yeah I'm looking at you Romby).

Win in Montreal, and go 4-5 the rest of the way we're still 10-8 and making the playoffs(maybe even in the East which is better).
