I'm not a fan of wasting a roster spot on a second import running back unless he's also your returner.

Ray struggled last night, but then against his best two receivers were a Canadian running back and someone signed off the street three days prior to the game.

Our offence seems to have drifted more to double tight ends and RB blocking schemes over the first games... we need a Joe Smith for the game MB is calling now. Maybe Anthony Allen is the answer... 6'1, 220-230... Suber for Allen? So we want the Running back who is behind the guy we just cut?

I think Kohlert would definitely produce more if he was put in a larger role. I'm in the camp that would like to see more passes his way. Agreed. I don't believe his lack of production is due to his play but rather how they've been using him.

Poblah was benched for Marco I believe. Rory Kohlert seems to be a tad under utilized thus far, it'd be nice if we could get him involved in the offense a little more.

Having Drew Willy run the QB sneaks has to be considered if we don't have any other QB capable of doing it even somewhat decently.

Grigsby is still better than Ford.

I liked Grigsby after the first couple of games but its clear he doesn't have what it takes to be a quality starting RB.

Its interesting that we've soured on Jarvis Jones so much. I thought he was comparable(although not quite as good) to January last year, and far superior to anything we've seen from the new import tackles this year. Aside from Running Back & DB, our import recruitment this year has been quite the disappointment IMO.

I disagree... Edmonton has at least shown some signs of weakness. Calgary looks unbeatable.Calgary barely beat Hamilton. That game was never in doubt. Not for a second. Really? Hamilton had a few chances too steal that game.

If we're going to shift guys around, I'd prefer to play Goossen at center and Morley at guard, or even give Jarvis Jones the start over Howard at tackle.

Edmonton/Calgary and Winnipeg/BC should both be really good games.

If someone tried to shush me for cheering on our defense that would go very very poorly for that person.

My guess is that Sherman returns to his role as a backup and Sears goes back to his previous position. That would be fantastic but we'd need Greaves back for that to work.

Who would of thought that we would actually be missing Aaron Kelly? We desperately need Greaves or Watson to return(although I know we can't count on them). One guy who I thought played pretty well last night was Matt Bucknor they took some shots at him but he held his own fairly well. If Donovan Alexander is healthy, I'd be inclined to move Sears back up to SAM and start DA at safety. I'd look to give Cotton a start over Grigsby myself, while Aaron Woods definitely should be dressing. Kick Returns were absolutely brutal.

I don't blame the rules for our inability to tackle. Guys need to form tackle instead of going for the big hit.
