Didn't he play against Calgary? I recall Peterson being terrible in both of the preseason games and Howard struggling with the second unit against the Stamps.

I thought Howard was terrible in the pre season and nothing I seen last night changed that opinion.

I'm worried about all our injuries and this being our first road game. With that being said, I still think we'll pull it out in a close one.

It does sound like he doesn't want to be here and who could blame him? He's ridiculed for every little mistake he makes here. I think we're going to miss Kane when he's gone.

Not blaming Turner at all, but it's a shame his absence forced Anderson to play on one leg and re-aggravate his injury.

This is our first road game and we're going to the city with the best night life in Montreal. I hope our guys are mature enough to not have a Charles Roberts/Tom Canada night.

Based on the first two weeks worth of games, Willy ought to be rated (arguably) no lower than the third best QB in the CFL. Aside from Durant & Ray who would you rather have than Willy? I'd pick a healthy Lulay but we may never see that again. Burris & Glenn with one ring in about thirty years combined? No thanks. I like Reilly, I like Collaros and I like BLM but I'm riding with Willy over any of them. Although, I will say that BLM probably has the best CFL career out of the bunch when all is said and done. But for right now(and the next couple of years ) Drew Willy is the man. I was one of the people who originally preferred Collaros, and I will say I'm not sure the Bombers strong play will hold up all season but I do know that we have a legit starting QB.

Big Ben missed a regular season game for the birth of his second child. If the Steelers are okay with their star QB missing a game, I'm pretty sure the Winnipeg Blue Bombers can spare missing an import D-linemen for a week.

Am I the only who's annoyed with Aaron Woods on punt returns? It seems that he's scared to catch the ball on a bounce. I remember on one return he ran backwards 5 yards instead of running up and grabbing it. He's actually very good at catching it in the air(something Jovon was terrible at) but he seems to be reluctant to grab it on a bounce.

Yeah what the hell was that? He just stood there and let the Ottawa guy jump on the ball. I agree, that was completely bizarre. I have no clue what was going through his mind. And then after watching the Ottawa guy jump on it he tries to signal that's it our ball.

Why is Denmark playing at wide out and Kelly out of the slot? Denmark has done much better out of the slot. I also don't like how we've made Kohlert a token wide side Canadian who doesn't get the ball.

The only accurate thing Tim Burke said last year is that Sherman has the potential to be a starter in this league.

I wasn't a fan of his in the pre season, and thought he was just good last week. But, he really impressed me tonight. Even his pass blocking is improved. I LOVE Paris Cotton but can we really justify putting Grigsby on the bench at this point? Also, where does this leave Will Ford(who I'm glad is now firmly #3)?
