First we NEED a RB... seeing as simpson and ford have not been re-signed. You can't seriously be worried that we're not going to find running backs...that's the easiest of all... Worried that we can fin a Rb? No. Worried we are going to find a great running back that can run out in the open, up the gut and can block? Yup. RB are easiest to find, but finding great RB isn't easy. Ford and Simpson aren't great running backs either.

It's a shame we gave up our 2nd, but at least we got more value out of it than the Riders did IMO.

With Newman, Bucknor and Cauchy I don't think there's much of a need for Alexander.

It's an expansion franchise, what did anyone really expect ? They seem to be the darlings of the CFL with the media. Personally, I hope they flop on the field. It would look good on Desjardins. I REALLY hope they don't beat us in their first game.

I thought it was possible he'd have to take a pay cut or be released, but I didn't think he'd hang em up. Regardless, he was a complete class act for us and a really good player, its too bad stupid Fantuz took the receiving title from him in 2010.

He's got a work out some time this week. If that doesn't result in an offer then the Laurent sweepstakes begin. I saw one article valuing him at $150K. I hope if that's true that the Bombers at least show some interest and put in a contract offer. He'd be a big piece on the DL. He won't be a replacement for Doug Brown (no one really could be) but he'd give us some roster flexibility. I think its pretty much a given that the Bombers would/have offered Laurent a ton of money. Whether he would be interested in coming here is the question.

I have a feeling you're wrong. You know a safety is a DB, right? Yeah I am well aware of that. You're more likely to see 4 NIs on the OL than 2 at db. That would be the most likely scenario. Hell I'd say its more likely a guy like Jake Thomas steps into a spot rather than two Canadians in the secondary.

With Cauchy, Newman, Sherman and Bucknor do we really need West back?

I love how people discredit every good selection made by Mack. There were tons of people that wanted guys like Sisco and Scott Mitchell picked over Watson and Henoc.

I'm going recent, but I really feel bad we couldn't win a Grey Cup in 2001 for guys like Khari, Milt, Charlie, Brown and Bobby G.

Sask and BC could be in for a bit of a down slide this year.
