Said it was a "no brainer" & now Hank may sign in Ottawa. Like I said, the off season from Hell. Wow. If we lose Henoc Muamba I'll agree with you.

Honestly, i'll be happy if we manage to re-sign Muamba, Kohlert and bring in Drew Willy. Losing out on Burris isn't the end of the world, but the fact we keep getting rejected is troubling.

At some point, Walters has to get the job done. We gave Mack two years of blaming Kelly... look where that got us. Overpaying a 39 year old QB is not getting the job done either. Except we didn't sign Collaros and said we were targeting Burris... he hasn't signed Muamba... lost Kohlert... hasn't announced coaching complete coaching staff... you could say he has overpaid in trades... at the very least, our trades have been non-impact - unless Neufeld comes though... I'm still on his side, but things are starting to pile up. Free agency should give us a pretty good idea whether Walters is in over his head... We haven't lost Kohlert or Muamba yet though. After all dust settles from Free Agency we'll be able to judge things a little better.

I would as well. We traded Kito, Kohlert is a question mark and Watson has injury concerns. Wasn't there talk around the expansion draft of Etienne having a contract in place already?

Whatever, losing out on Burris isn't the end of the world. I'd be content with Willy, or Willy and Glenn would be perfectly fine.

That means we get news on whats going to happen sooner. But the real question is, why was this necessary?

I'd take Troy Smith over either of them. I have a bad feeling Reilly is going to become Buck Pierce 2.0. He can't keep taking those hits and stay on the field.

The scariest part is considering Steve Morley a ''surefire starter''.

Hopefully one of those interested teams is Edmonton, and then maybe we can get Mike Reilly instead.

Yeah, I really liked the first two trades he made but with this one and the Neufeld one it feels like he's been giving up too much.

Yeah, even though it isn't logical I feel as if we're going to get swerved and he'll end up in Montreal or something.

Burris must be quite excited that his main competition is gone.

If only we could swing a trade for Harris as well.

If it came down to only getting one of Willy and Burris I'd prefer Willy. But it'd be nice to get both.

Maybe I'm just a spiteful person, but am I the only one who hopes that Collaros flames out in Hamilton now?

Burris is the type of guy who will want to be guaranteed the starting job as well.I'd have to imagine that with Troy Smith and Tanner Marsh, Montreal wouldn't be overly attractive to him.

If we lose Muamba it won't be due to a lack of $$$$.

What I meant was that our talent is significantly better than what they had. Our D played terribly, but we mixed in some dominating performances with the stink. IMO there's a lot of talent there. That 2012 Ticats D had the least amount of talent I can remember a team ever assembling. The 2005 Bombers featuring Marcus and Marcel Smith would argue with that.

My favorite player in the league. I hope he succeeds because he's someone who actually deserves it.

That says more about Pierce, Jyles, Bishop and Hall than it does Burris.

We were really weak at DB then, I wanted us to take him instead of Val St.Germain or whoever we picked at that spot. With that being said, I think he's past his best before date. I would pass on him at this stage.
