I thought Davis got a short hook to be fair. He was better than LeFevour, and we played without any semblance of a receiving core, missing Adams and Dressler.

I can just imagine the 2018 Bombers trotting our there with Sam Hurl and Patrick Neufeld as starters like it’s 2015.

No offence to Randle, but how good was this team before Bond entered the starting lineup? The entire O-Line went from below average to great, simply due to Travis Bond starting over Patty Neufeld.

Letting Bond go to another team is a decision we’d surely live to regret rather quickly..

Exactly my point. I don’t understand how anyone believes that Davis and LeFevour are better than Durant.

I don’t understand how anyone doesn’t believe Durant would be an instant improvement as our backup QB.

Durant was on the dumpster fire Montreal team, while Glenn was on a good Rider team that played better when he wasn’t in the game. How they played for those two teams isn’t exactly an apple to apples comparison.

Bond is a must sign in my mind, I feel like he’s gone but not opening up the bank for him will be a huge mistake.

Durant has to be a better backup than Glenn. We know that Glenn is going to fold when the weather gets cold, Durant has played some of the best games of his career in November.

We haven't had a legit MLB since Henoc left to the NFL. That plays a BIG part in our inability to stop the run.

He’s a good coach, but to be a great coach and help take this team to the next level he needs to make adjustments. That’s what will help propel us from a team that’s perenially losing in the WSF compared to being legit GC contenders. The playoffs showed that, despite our injuries, we still have a little ways to go if we want to beat Calgary or Edmonton when it counts.

We won a lot of games due to the sheer brilliance of Matt Nichols. Winning regular season games is nice, but it’s been five years. We need to show up in the playoffs and play with the big boys, I’m not satisfied with simply making the playoffs and folding like a cheap seat. There’s no doubt that the unwillingness and reluctance to make changes in our lineup and coaching staff has hurt this team. Loyal to a fault. Roc Carmicheal was single handidly costing our team games in the first half of the season. You can’t make any sort of argument that Sam Hurl deserves to start EVERY single game last year, you just can’t. Even if you want to use the ratio as an excuse, Thomas Miles is IMO a better player than Hurl no deserved a shot at proving that.

O’Shea needs a little bit of a fire. The only time he coached extremely well is when his back was against the wall and his job was on the line. Aside from that, he hasn’t been willing to make necessary changes.

Our receivers didn’t really adjust well to the Fevers scrambling either. I watched Denmark stand there doing nothing on broken plays repeatedly.

Maas is a close friend of Rays’s, and the rumour is that if he doesn’t re-sign with the Argos he’ll be going back to coach under Maas. Im simply saying that he may consider holding the clipboard for a year as well, considering the major need the Eskimos have at that position.

Maybe, but being a backup QB/QB Coach for a year could be under consideration as well. The salary of a backup QB is more than that of a positional coach, especially since he'll likely be Edmonton's emergency QB should anything happen to Reilly regardless.

You have to wonder if Ricky Ray would consider that position.

I'm willing to bet that we sign Durant as our backup QB not Glenn.

Collaros has been outplayed by Masoli the last two seasons, he doesn't scare me even a little bit. I'm happy the Riders got him rather than Franklin.
