To be honest, all of the rules that are being implemented next year seem to be terrible. I think we'll see quite a few of them reverted fairly quickly.

There would be no Nichols/Collaros debate or compassion if Collaros had the opportunity to beat up on low hanging fruit like Toronto and Ottawa. We played Calgary four times this year and our O had its worst game (by far) when Nichols started.

Saying that Collaros didn't do anything Nichols wouldn't is a classic case of looking at the stats sheet to compare them Collaros's ability to use his legs to extend the play is a huge advantage over Nichols. Collaros also stretched the field much better than Nichols. I wouldn't be so quick to shortchange Collaros's impact. Not to mention the fact that his four games were against the 2nd ,3rd, and 4th best teams.

Or that we fired Doug Berry to hire “Lord Lyles” best friend Mike Kelly.

I wish Riderfans didn’t lose their data. I still vividly remember that clown (RS) posting in a thread about Walters/MOS’s last extensions stating that “as a rider fan, this is great news”. I would love to see his opinion on that post now that we have a Grey Cup win and 2 more playoff wins than the Riders at their own freaking stadium.

That’s a fumble, I don’t think there’s an immediate recovery regardless though.

The fact that Zach Collaros in one year has won more playoff games than Matt Nichols in three years might change that. If we had a QB who was a needle mover, we easily beat Calgary in the Western Final last year. Are we in the Grey Cup if Nichols is still our starting QB? I highly doubt it.

Sure it is, I'd argue that Bishop had more to do with the Argos 2007 record than Nichols did with the Bombers 2019. Nichols is a classic game manager who can keep a team afloat, but he's not a needle mover.

Everyone using Nichol's record as an indicator that he's a great QB need a reminder that Michael Bishop once went 11-1.

Context is important, Nichols played well against BC in 2017 but O'Shea made the horrific decision to go for the 62 yard field goal. He didn't play well against in Edmonton in 2017, with the majority of his stats being complied when the game was out of hand in the fourth quarter and played poorly against Calgary in 2018.

One week from today, we’ll have an entire offseason to beat this topic to death. I’m not concerned about anything but the Grey Cup right now.

Bombers are 3-0 with ZC, while the Ticats wrecked us twice with Nichols & Strev starting. If they beat us with ZC as well, they'll definitely have earned it.
