might be what we need.

We're only two games into the season, but it looks like a lot of our players are going to be gone in the off season when wholesale changes are made. A very very early topic, but I'm going to try and keep it positive. What starters have impressed you guys? Who do you see sticking around and being solid players for us throughout the rest of the year and into 2017? Andrew Harris - Runs hard every time he has the ball, and even if he tails off a bit as a running back, he could potentially move to receiver as his career winds down. Ryan Smith & Weston Dressler - Haven't done much this year, Smith due to lack of opportunities and Dressler for the obvious reasons. I'm sure by the end of 2016 both will show why we went after them though. Jace Davis - Looks like the best receiver this regime has recruited and hes only 24. I believe he could have a long productive career in the CFL. Darvin Adams - Wasn't a fan due to his lack of effort and dropsies last year. But he's played harder thus far this season and looks like he could gain a bit more consistency which would make a 1000 yard receiver and a good second tier target. Goossen & Chung - Young Canadians, not great players yet but young and still developing. Chung in particular I believe can be a very very good CFL player if we're able to keep him around. Chris Randle - I absolutely love this guy. He brings it every time he steps on the field. Johnny Adams - Haven't seen him yet this season but is a very good young corner, he'll be a big help to our D whenever he's able to return. Mo Leggett - Versatile player, I personally prefer him at safety, but he isn't bad at SAM either. With the proper system and coaching, he can very easily be the best safety in the league. Ian Wild OR Bass - They don't play well together, neither one of them is a middle linebacker. Wild hasn't even played great at OLB this year. But he always and is a really good player. I believe one of them should be traded and Henoc Muamba(ideally) should take over as our MLB. Westerman - Should be the reigning MOC, was an absolute force last season. Like Bass & Wild, he hasn't played particularly well this season but he's a guy I know can turn it around and play at an elite level. Cummings - Hasn't been spectacular, but hes caused some good pressure and is a nice young building block. Medlock - Great kicker, not sure we can afford to pay him that kind of $$$ long term but he's the best K in the league. I'm not really sure that anyone else on our team has played well enough to be considered part of our ''core''. Kohlert for example, is a guy I've always really liked him but seems to have really slowed down the last two seasons. Of course his spot on the field plays a big part in that, but he's a guy who's taken a bit of a step backwards instead of forwards.

Which week will the Blue turn it around and win?

Whenever we play the Riders. -
They're beautiful. I absolutely love them.

Chamblin is awful stop this. He's the last thing this dumpster fire needs.

Offer Huf 750K to be our coach and GM. I've liked some of the things Walters has done, but his butchering of the CFL draft(Waggoner, Richards) and lack of ability to recruit a decent import player means he needs to go as well. This regime has done absolutely nothing to earn a second chance. We've gone 7-25 since our 5-1 start in 2014. What about that means that we have anything close to competent people in the building? Ottawa is already one of the best teams in the league. I also can't help but wonder if Wade Miller meddles in football OPs more than he lets on...

You meant to say, invite him to come post over here right?

Week 2 Other Games (Als vs Ott Sask vs TO Ham vs BC)

Yeah I wasn't buying the Roosevelt hype but he was impressive. It would sure be nice if we could recruit a guy like him. The rest of their receivers get a collective "meh"'from me. -

I don't get the Durant love myself. He looked very average. Good game manager, but he isn't going to go out and win a game for you. Ricky Ray is so done. I just can't get over the Argos keeping him over Trevor Harris. -
The rookie DBs weren't the problem last week anyways. I mean they weren't great but they weren't the reason we lost by any means. Bruce Johnson really struggled but I definitely expect him to bounce back, and Macho Harris flat out sucks. If you used him as an example you might've gained some traction.
-
Andrew Harris sounds good.
-
We really didn't miss anything though. That's the worst part about it. Aside from Willy badly overthrowing a wide open Ryan Smith deep we don't have a lot of plays like that.
-
The three step drop and quick release worked wonders, but with that being said our Dline still didn't get enough pressure. I know sacks were difficult to come by, but even a few more hits to rattle Kevin would've been huge. I also thought our entire secondary minus randle was meh at best and awful(macho & Bruce) at worst.
-
Bass even caused the randle interception on the first of his two great hits.
-
That stat is so bad it's unbelievable.
-
Willy played great last year. If Willy played like his 2015 self we would've dominated Montreal.
-
Calgary as a team looked even worse than we did. I mean Jennings looked awful and BC still managed to win that game.
-
Stanley Bryant really escapes blame here because he was so good in Calgary and he's a big name but he's been extremely underwhelming since he's been here IMO. Very average which isn't anything close to what we pay him to be. Not that Chung and Goossen are all stars, but inthink they've been let down by the Imports and veterans as opposed to vice versa.
-
In the post I quoted you said he was our starting centre last year which I was correcting that's all.
-
Picard started almost every game last year. Goossen started a few at C, and a few at guard where he really struggled. His snapping alone made him a far better Option at Centre than Picard though. Just another situation where O'Shea sticks with one of his mediocre players.
-
True, I mean we did take Richards over Durant who despite not having a huge 2015 actually looks like he'll be a quality Canadian in the league.
-
He's who would be on our team if it wasn't for the Waggonner selection.
-
Philip gagnon is a starter actually yeah.
-
I wonder when the peanut gallery will finally be ready to admit that Waggoner is shomari Williams 2.0. Him and Addison Richards were absolutely atrocious picks.
