  1. This is going to be my first game in Calgary since 2009 when Bishop knocked himself out. Should be good.
  2. That PI was legit. The DB slowed down Gore enough that he couldn't catch the ball. That's a touchdown if he isn't touched.
  3. Judging by the body language of Nichols, he seems to think that everyone but himself is at fault for all his terrible interceptions.
  4. The game neither team wants or deserves to win.
  5. Man these teams both suck. How is Edmonton letting Ottawa hang around?
  6. What a phantom penalty on Grant. I hope Collaros isn't seriously hurt.
  7. The we get an injury and have to use a defensive lineman as the backup OL and god forbid we have 2 injuries and we're using that DL as an actual OL. Why are some people simply terrified of having depth? There's some irony in this post considering that we're talking about a converted D-linemen.
  8. I'm actually not convinced that part is all in his head.
  9. The offense doesn't put up a single touchdown and we're going to sit here and complain about the D?
  10. Not even close...Willy finished 3rd and Burris was 4th. Still proves my point that passing yards don't correlate to wins. You can't go by individual stats with numerous guys like Durant & Collaros missing significant time. Not that I'm saying that there would be a correlation with passing yards and wins, but you'd need to go by each teams passing yardage per game.
  11. I hate every single new rule introduced this year. Throw them into the dumpster fire cause BC/Sask had an awesome ending and all I could think about was the 249539593 illegal contact penalties called throughout the game. If this is the quality of football the CFL wants to offer me I'm afraid I won't be watching much aside from the Bomber games.
  12. PI isn't reviewable from the command center so the coaches challenge can still be used. That rule was mostly enforced when things like turnovers weren't automatically reviewed the entire game.
  13. Randle was awesome. I've been complaining about moving him to SAM but he was sure awesome tonight . I've always been a big supporter of Washington, but his reckless play is beginning to outweigh his usefulness.
  14. Knowing Kevin Glenn, I have absolutely no faith that we actually win in 2007 with him at the helm. Revisionist history. I remember the 2007 season clearly, and if Glenn doesn't have his arm broken, we kill the Riders with our defense alone. Hell, they came within 4 points of winning the damn thing with Dinwiddie, and that included an "interception" that actually skipped off the turf and wasn't overturned because no replay yet... I thought so too until I watched the 2012 Grey Cup.
  15. I think we should petition the sun to give Gbill all of Friesen's duties.
  16. Knowing Kevin Glenn, I have absolutely no faith that we actually win in 2007 with him at the helm.
  17. yes. you don't lose your job to an injury. especially if you are arguably the best passer the league has ever had. now you could make the argument that he didn't lose it to injury as Harris won it out of camp while Ray was still rehabbing... That's a losers mentality. The best players play and I don't care how they got the job. I'll take the young injury free stud over the aging former stud with severe injury problems.
  18. Congratulations on making comparisons on two completely different situations and trying to equate Cato's success with what Marve would have done. Montreal out-game-planned Calgary and Hamilton out-game-planned us. That's where the comparisons should end. Marve has the arm strength to complete a pass. Brohm doesn't. That's where the conversation should end. I guess you know more than Kyle Walters and Danny McManus about arm strength then. Because when Brohm was signed Walters said: "Danny played a huge role in this. Danny, who was with (Brohm) in training camp last year, could speak to some of the qualities that you couldn't find on the brief film. Danny likes his arm strength, talked about his escapability and things, but more importantly, Danny talked about the type of young man he is and the leadership he has, how he brings up everyone around him... a great person to have in the organization." Okay, you pull up meaningless quotes and the rest of us will judge Brohm based off of what we see with our eyes on the football media.
  19. Isn't this the same point people tried to use in regards to Kuale last year? It's obvious that O'Shea doesn't leave his players accountable.
  20. Randle needs to be moved back to Corner immediately.
