  1. I'm not sure whats with all the Ellingson love. He had a great half of 2013 to start his CFL career, then he tailed off and got injured continuously. He'd be an upgrade over Romby or Kelly sure, but who wouldn't be?
  2. He's under contract for another five years? No thanks.
  3. Just like two former Bombers making the two biggest plays to get the Seahawks in the Super Bowl was last weekend! Must have had the right sized balls to accomplish those feats. I'm sure that Matthews & Ryan have perfectly sized balls.
  4. Never imagined that he'd get an NFL shot, and I'd very surprised if he stuck but good for Wild and I hope he does well.
  5. We interrupt your childish ongoing pot shots at the Riders for this public service announcement: The Riders at least won the grey cup in 2013 unlike the Cats who have lost 2 in a row. Are you going for a three peat this year? Pot shots at the Riders are perfectly acceptable over here.
  6. Three different posters, three different answers. ''We all know who that would be'' doesn't seem entirely accurate.
  7. Good one. Is it that far off? Sheets was by far the best running back in the CFL.. he was dominant. And Butler was a high end Canadian starter. Did you forget about Jon Cornish? Are Picard and Heenan not high end Canadian starters?
  8. I'm willing to bet that Stamps is in the league longer than Stafford from this point on.
  9. Yes he did, but Dressler is still a top receiver in this league. I'd still take him over Moore or Denmark myself.
  10. Why? If we can't get someone like Heenan or Stanley Bryant, having one more game breaking receiver would be huge for our offense.
  11. Maybe if he's in the slot. Definitely not as the wide side receiver.
  12. Kohlert is a very good second tier Canadian receiver, he'll never be in the same class as guys like Fantuz or Cahoon but he's every bit as good as guys like Getzlaf and Shawn Gore. He'll be a consistent 600-700 yard receiver here for the next five years.
  13. It's a shame we don't have depth at receiver, Jasper would've looked great in Blue & Gold.
  14. Kohlert easily. JFG vs Watson is a much more interesting comparison.
  15. I would normally agree with you but it seems that Watson's body is deteriorating to the point where he's hardly a difference maker even when he's in the lineup(still a solid player though).
  16. Aside from Kohlert do we have a single Canadian who could start on a team like the Stamps? I don't think so and that puts us at below average at best.
  17. Ottawa has little to no chance of improvement next year. This trade is absolutely horrific considering the contract Price has and that Simmons is a better player than a HEALTHY Price, never mind an injury Price on a bloated contract. Then there's the whole Eric Rogers factor as well, oh man Ottawa needs to clean house and we're not even into their second year of existence yet.
  18. Cornish is definitely on the decline, the decline for running backs comes hard and fast. I'll say that he drops down the cliff sometime during the 2016 season at the latest.
  19. Reilly is going to have to trouble staying on the field and Nichols sucks. They could definitely use a developmental third stringer.
  20. We could use more one young receiver too. We have no depth at that position outside of JFG who will probably have to start half of the year given Watson's injury history.
  21. Oh! Oh! I want to be one of the people who touches the quarterbacks!Where exactly is O'Shea touching the QBs? No one is touching my Willy. you got that. I've actually been touching your Willy for years...
  22. Running back is the ONLY position IMO that's easy to recruit for.
  23. Brohm already flamed out in the NFL once, why on earth would any team take him now that he's almost 30 years old and has been sitting on the bench for the last four years?
  24. Bringing Kuale to TC would quite frankly be an embarrassment and show that there is little to no accountability from O'Shea to his players.
