I don't like the play call on second and ten and I don't like the decision to kick the FG. That's putting a lot of pressure on your D to force a two and out.

A guy like Messam would do the trick. If we could figure out the two games in the season he'd be worth a roster spot it might be worthwhile. As opposed to using a DI spot on a backup running back who will only touch the ball a few times a game?

With our current roster, I don't see the problem with a line of Daniels - Greaves - Morley - Goossen - Neufeld.

Wild would be a good choice if re-signs. You also couldn't go wrong with Denmark.

The stat I like about Crompton is that he threw six picks in his first three games but just three picks in the eight games since (including the semifinal) The guy has cleaned up his game real nice. Whether it's the coaching making the game simpler for him or him just making better decisions, that seems like a pretty impressive turnaround. Also, Montreal beat Calgary pretty bad in the back half of the season. Their turnaround wasn't all a mirage. but was that not a game in which Calgary wasn't playing BLM and Cornish? They still managed to beat everybody else without those two.

How much is Picard earning right now? I believe some of their big earners are pending FAs too ... like Foley. The Riders actually apparently got Foley on a very reasonable deal. He'll be do for a raise if they bring him back. They'll have a lot of tough decisions to make this off season,it'll be very interesting to see what happens in Riderville.

We're going to pick an OL at number 11 at the latest.

Demski isn't any better than Coombs. I'd prefer not to take a guy just because he's from Winnipeg, but if there aren't any O-linemen worthy of being picked number two I'd be okay with taking him.
