  1. Hall has shown enough to get more starts. With no one behind him it was a silly decision to pull him.
  2. Stewart did say if it was cheers for Buck then it was okay. The problem is it Wasn't just for Buck. Which brings us back to Stewarts idiotic comments. I hope when there are ten thousand less fans next home game Stewart feels good that he won't be able to hear them cheering as loudly for the opposition.
  3. I'm no expert but I like hall. He's very accurate and can thread the needle. He had a touch couple of int's but I thought he was forcing it a bit after all the turnovers. He deserves to finish.
  4. Wait are we criticizing the bombers for employing Buck or the lions? The Buck haters need to take a deep breath. And then get lost.
  5. No it's really not. It's just one of those positions where a lot of people who never held a job on professional sports assumes they know more than the guy who does.
  6. It doesn't even matter that it won't mean anything. This is a community team in turmoil with players calling out fans and a CEO who promised to fox things. Someone has to suffer the consequences.
  7. There is zero excuse for silence on this now. It will seem like they are hiding. Two back to back hideous performances. Players calling out the fans. Players fighting with each other. This team needs a leader to stand under the hot lights.
  8. I'm not saying fire Burke. But miller has to do something. He owes it to the fans to show that this performance has consequences
  9. That's also very true
  10. The Pembina parking lots were never sold out. And their use dropped every week as people figured out that transit was the best way to get to the games.
  11. On the surface it's more government cash flowing to he team. But those crown corps have advertising money so I'm glad it's being spent on the bombers. Whether they should have any advertising money at all is another discussion.
  12. Hall should have stayed in because he was moving the ball. Make some adjustments, sit him down. Coach around the int's. But pulling him for boltus was be equivalent of taking a knee at the half.
  13. Stewart even said "if it was for Buck so be it" or something like that. The players know the cheers were somewhat meant as a shot to the team. If it was anyone but buck I have no doubt the fans would not have given a standing ovation. So I believe it was sincere. But I also think it was partially motivated by disgust with the bombers.I guarantee if Buck had tossed a TD the fans would still have cheered. But that only happens because it's buck. The players should stop throwing around words like disappointing and disgust when talking about the fans because the real shocking thing is how there are still fans at all.
  14. Stewart blasted the fans. Uh oh. I guess it can get worse.
  15. Burke came into a horrible situation. Would the team be 10-2 with a different coach?
  16. Should have kept Hall in. He was moving the ball and putting up Numbers, some bad yes. But some good. I like Burke so while I can understand the desire for him to be fired if prefer the name calling and disrespect was not apart of it. But I so agree this performance after last week demands consequences. Someone has to go.
  17. We really benefitted by having three Imports on the o line.
  18. Big props to the fans for having some fun and hanging in there. Ovation for Buck (even if it was sarcasm directed at the Bombers) was classy and apparently meant a lot to Buck. Good thing we have TSN announcers to let the GM know he should talk to muamba about a contract extension.
  19. It was an idiotic decision to pull Hall. There was no conceivable reason for that. Boltus wasn't close to ready so playing isn't developing him. Hall goes 14-24, 169 yards and 2 TDs in a half and gets pulled? So we've given up on hall now? Utterly ridiculous. Despicable effort. Makes me sick. If we fire Burke it gets worse. But what else is there. Do we even have enough staff to run the team if we fire Burke? The second this season is over Walters needs to fire every single coach. Period. House cleaning time.
  20. This game should put at ease any minds who think the Bombers have a hope of winning out. They won't win another game.
  21. I argued against firing Burke. But that game demands consequences. Someone has to go. I understand the point of seeing what you've got but pulling Hall signalled the throwing in of the towel and that disgusts me. All eyes should be on Wade Miller tomorrow morning. Something must be done.
  22. Come on , to suggest Burke would do something desperate or crazy is ridiculous. You might not like him as a coach but he's not an axe murderer or anything. He deserves a little respect. He's not going to to do anything maliciously to hurt this franchise.
  23. Why not fire all the coaches and let the players just play as they see fit? You really want one guy doing the HC and OC and QB Coach? And another who cant even DC without Burke helping him? I know the season is a write-off, but with the changes that are coming, there is no reason to make changes now. Change will come.
  24. Anyone who wants Burke fired right now is not thinking things through.
  25. Unless I am mistaken, the CFL salary cap contains a floor as well as a ceiling. So any talk of the Bombers scrimping to make up ticket revenue shortfall doesnt hold water. I believe the difference between the floor and ceiling is only about $200,000. So they can realistically only save $200,000 more than any other team.
