  1. Keep in mind, Vegas' cap space for next year is projected at $6.6 million and thats without a Stone or Karlsson signed. So....Vegas will have some tough decisions to make too. They're up against it as of next season, assuming the Stone signing happens.
  2. Then Im surprised there wasnt a conditional pick. But I suppose not needed since Vegas must have had permission to talk to Stone. He's going to cash in big time.
  3. Brannstrom was 15th overall in 2017 so there's the first rounder. Jets probably could have competed with that package but I suspect Sens wanted Roslo or bust and the Jets wouldnt do it. EDIT: As good as Brannstrom is, I wonder if Sens holding out did hurt them in the end with Jets and Flames dropping out.
  4. The chatter was Vegas didnt want Stone as a rental so I assume they'd try hard to re-sign him. A lot worse places to play than Vegas and we all know Winnipeggers love Sin City!
  5. Asking too much....and Jets out and Calgary said they're out. So high price + less suitors = tougher deal? EDIT: Apparently, TSN is saying its coming...
  6. I love the idea that someone else thinking the XFL could work made Vince commit over $100 million into it himself.
  7. I’m not sure that is relevant to him signing here. lol but I guess Keith might say good things about the City
  8. Alright here are some more words on Arn Anderson According to Meltzer, Vince and Arn didnt get along for awhile. Arn was not seen as a company guy in that he didnt defend the crappy storylines to the talent. When talent would complain, Arn would agree with them. lol But from many accounts coming from many places, he was tremendously respected. He was Cena's agent almost exclusively and Hunter supported him too. One unconfirmed source indicated a lot of talent was livid when the news broke. Apparently something happened at a recent house show for which Arn got the blame (with various sources lining up on either side). Arn and Vince supposedly got into a yelling match and Arn was sent home to cool off. Vince then decided not to bring him back. Now...Arn is older so would he work in AEW? I dont know. But I do know he's one of the best promos and psychology guys of his time, two things that arent really going to be lost due to age or modern changes (promos might have changed but for the worse as they became scripted). Speaking of which, Bruce Prichard actually hates scripted promos. So if he can be in Vince's ear and push through some positive changes, more power to him. But his era was early to mid 90's which was a dreadful time creatively in WWE and he did virtually nothing since being fired. Also, when it comes to Anderson vs Prichard, they had different jobs. Booker and agent are not the same. EDIT: Also, apparently Steve Corino was bumped up to the main roster (unconfirmed). If so, great move. And a Winnipeg connection. I believe Sarah Stock (also of Winnipeg) is an agent on the main roster (I saw her in a vignette on RAW once).
  9. A friend messaged me right after the trade with "I'd have rather traded Roslo than Lemieux". I dont see it. Roslo might not be the 4C option right now but he's good and has nothing but upside. Lemiuex has upside but probably hits the ceiling at 3rd line grit winger...IF that.
  10. I hate to bag on a player leaving but some of the social media chatter now is that Lemieux was a bit...problematic. Could be fans wanting to diminish a player so we dont feel we lost. Who knows. Who cares, he's not a jet anymore so move on.
  11. I personally would love both. Little has been good this year. He can play wing as well. Having both, would be great for the Jets. Can they make it fit...if the Cap goes up, I think they can.
