Interesting as they had initially stood behind him. The details of the evidence laid out yesterday were pretty damning though. I caught a brief moment of this on CNN last night and the host had a debate between a left-leaning guy and someone who worked for Trump (who traditionally makes little sense). But not only was he winning the argument, the CNN host was really putting the boots to the lefty as well. Its a great example of needing to look at your position through a lens of "if this was reversed, how would I feel." Smollett did a major dis-service to his cause (assuming the evidence against him is solid).

Im surprised there is such argument against this. Assuming most of the posters here are male, have they never worked in a professional setting or been in a relationship with a woman who did? I think it can be difficult for men to take a long hard look at reality on some of these issues. I work for a company that is unionized so pay is essentially regulated. There are other ways to hinder women or to give men a leg up. For a time, I worked very closely with some pretty key managers and directors and had influence over who got opportunities in our workplace below me. There was definitely a difference... I know one female manager who went out to learn how to golf because if you didnt, you missed out on valuable face time with higher-ups...almost all of them men. Aggressive men were seen as rising stars. Women? You can imagine. And the worst part is, it was sometimes women holding other women back. Ofcourse, I have no studies just personal experience. But Eternal provided studies. In terms of entry level positions, its interesting that some studies show a pay disparity there because you'd think it wouldn't. Are there studies showing advancement...? Do men advance at greater numbers than women? Because thats a pay gap too. Even if the studies are old, its indicative of a real issue. I think we can agree in many cases, things are changing. But certainly not all. And part of the issue is men not realizing it exists. If the men in positions to change things dont think anything needs to change, what happens?

Ofcourse it was. But filing a false police report is literally incredibly minor compared to all the crimes and allegations you excuse because you share the opinion of the people committing them. Being MORE outraged at people who expressed dismay at the purported crime than at the perpetrators of similar crimes when they do happen, is transparent and gross. The white supremacist coat guard is a way bigger story but you dont care because all he wanted to do was kill liberals and black people. You're not even outraged at Smolletts, you're belittling people who felt sympathy for him because the idea of feeling sympathy for blacks or gays when they are attacked seems foreign to you. That's the problem. And you don't even grasp that thats the way you're coming across. The old "nah nah nah nah nah, no you" come back is about the intellectual level you've been operating on the last few days here so I am not surprised. But it is another example of why people are so dismissive of your posts here. No substance. Just poor attempts at jokes and immature criticisms. We get it, its a deflecting and coping mechanism. But seriously...its a bad look. And as someone who has agreed with many things you've posted on other topics, you can do a lot better. #BeBetter

I thought you were smart enough to grasp this. There have been many discussions in this thread that were not supportive of left wing politics. There are only a few people who can't engage (or choose to not engage) in discussions in a mature way. Im sorry, you're one of them. The point was for you to create an absurd thread for when you blow up minor things or express outrage in thinly veiled efforts to push a white nationalist agenda where other people could avoid them. because they are irrelevant. This thread should be for all discussions of US politics. You rarely discuss US politics. Thats the point. While I am enjoying you getting angrier and angrier about my posts, its a waste of time. Personally, if it was my forum, I wouldn't allow any semblance of white nationalism because we all know what it is. But it isnt my board.
