  1. Its probably moreso that they seem to have a natural immunity or they get it, dont have symptoms and become somewhat immune. But we've seen children die from it (and have other complications) so its still a risk. But I agree, if I have the virus, cough on my hands, handle an object, child then handles object and has virus on their hands and touches something another adult touches, how is there not spread? The child's hands dont absorb and destroy the virus. Those studies probably mean children arent shedding the virus in the same way adults are. But were it me, I'd not look at a school of 500 kids and say, well, maybe 5 get sick and only one dies so lets go learn.
  2. My work told us those of us working at home would not be brought back to the office until either 1) there is a vaccine or 2) 3/4 of the office test positive for antibodies. They didnt explain how they intend to enforce either.
  3. FB is trash but if Twitter actually held Trump to their TOS, he'd be suspended many times over. One thing Democrats have to be ready for (and they probably arent) is not just an October surprise but a daily surprise. It will be made up nonsense but it will spew forth. Especially with poll numbers as they are (though they will likely change a million times). One thing to remember, Biden is polling almost identical to Hilary. And Hilary was going to trounce Trump were it not the cheating and the Comey blunder.
  4. Trump won’t win this silly attack on mail in voting especially since that’s how he votes. It will only resonate with those people that already wanted to rescind the right to vote of certain people....
  5. 24 team playoffs. Top four teams in each conference get a bye but will play warm up games. First round (buy in) would be best of five. Jets vs Flames.
  6. He clearly is wanting to incite violence among his disgusting base over a stolen election when people actually get to vote. Imagine defending him and admiring his people. Aligned values. Gross.
  7. Oh for sure. He pretty much hates everyone they doesn’t love him. He doesn’t want to have real relationships. He wants worshippers. That’s why he loves the nazis and White supremacists. Their unabashed devotion to him. you see it even here unfortunately. With People driven to spread lies and none sense out of some deep rooted obsession with defending and supporting him. It’s a weird cult. But their values align or at least they wish they did. They wish they could do all the things trump does which is why they defend it. They hate a society where white men arent allowed to be open racists or violate women. It’s disgusting.
  8. Yeah we really need the eye role “like” emoticon please. Lol
  9. Well it’s happening.
  10. Scandal after scandal.
  11. Well this fine he wasn’t doing too badly. It was Luck’s efforts in running the company but they were doing financially better than their own expectations. And Vince has good lawyers. Shortly before they went bankrupt Vince loaned his own company money which was odd since he was financing it from the beginning. But doing it that way makes Vince the largest creditor of his company which gives him an advantage on buying the assets out of bankruptcy court. If he wants another go at it the plan seems to be to ice the league this year and stiff everyone they owe money to and then start back up next year or whenever it’s prudent.
  12. Sad end.
  13. Amazing how angry trump is and desperate to stop mail in votes. I guarantee he is going to move to not count any of them. He will try to steal the election, obviously.
  14. https://www.espn.com/wwe/story/_/id/29194379/wwe-shad-gaspard-man-supposed-be LOS ANGELES -- When the lifeguard arrived, between 50 and 75 yards off Venice Beach, the boy and his father were caught in the rip current, enveloped in what's called an "impact zone." "The best way I can describe it," said Kenichi Haskett, Section Chief of the LA County Fire Department - Lifeguard Division, "is like being inside a front-loading washing machine. The waves keep crashing on you, pushing you down. ... I've been through that, those kind of rescues. You think you might die." This was Sunday afternoon, shortly before 4 p.m., the first weekend Los Angeles County opened its beaches since the stay-at-home order. The swells were 6 feet, and the current was fast, as the father and his 10-year-old son were now 200 yards north from where the lifeguard first spotted them. The lifeguard, whom Haskett personally debriefed, tried to deliver a "rescue can" -- a small, buoy-like device to help tow distressed swimmers back to shore. "But because of the size of the waves, the boy couldn't secure it," Haskett said. That presented the lifeguard -- who has a middle school-aged son himself -- with an excruciating dilemma. The father was 6-6, about 270 pounds, with shoulders the size of a small desk. "Based on the gentlemen's size and the conditions in the water...," Haskett said, "these are choices we do not want to make." Then again, based on the gentlemen's character, there was never a choice. "Take my son," said the father, a former professional wrestler named Shad Gaspard, to the lifeguard. Save my son. Three minutes had not passed before the boy was safe on shore. He was physically unharmed, but deeply distraught. "Dad told me to push off to the guy," he told Steve Smith, a firefighter-paramedic from Rescue 63 in Venice. The boy kept saying that: "Dad told me to push off to the guy." The guy. The lifeguard. Just as he turned back, making a hasty return to the ocean, the lifeguard saw the father again. "A wave pushed him under in the impact zone," said Haskett. "He didn't resurface after that." The rescue divers went in immediately. Then, the Coast Guard. Still, there's been no sighting of "the gentleman" Shad Gaspard.
  15. So trump declassifies this email to apparently hurt Obama when in fact it completely exonerates him. These people are very bad at this. With everything trump is doing recently there is something going on. Something bad coming (for him).
  16. There is talk Vince is trying to buy back a debt free XFL out of bankruptcy court.
  17. And I don’t want to see one self righteous trump nut whining about this either unless they have also criticized trump for his plethora of personal and petty insults against everyone.
  18. Fat shaming is generally awful. But pelosi didn’t really do that. Did she know her comments would engrave Trump? Sure. But it was relevant to the topic of him taking unapproved drugs and being obese. Plus here’s a guy that got his doctor to flat out lie about his weight in an official press release. Trump made his weight an issue. And health is always an issue during elections. Both guys are old but only one is terribly overweight, has Ana awful diet, gets virtually no exercise and lies about his health constantly. It’s a legitimate issue.
  19. Good for her. Personal insults are par for the course for the idiot in chief. See how he likes it. And it’s relevant anyway.
