Well, to be fair, Dana White's comments are probably the least confirmation of Roman's win

I was going to suggest the same thing about Carmella. Makes sense for her to cash in but she cant beat Asuka. It IS something WWE would do because Carmella isnt very good (I like her though) and beating Asuka and ending the streak would cause the smarks to riot. But the money is in Ronda vs Asuka. And if Asuka is going to remain unbeaten, Carmella has to cash in and lose. Might as well do at WM (or possibly on SD). I also think if they do an upset, Charlotte beating Asuka is the most likely place to do it, though I have this nagging feeling Vince might get cold feet on Roman again, especially with all the "confirmations" of Brock leaving which essentially spoils the outcome. I wouldnt bet against Roman winning, but again, if they go against the grain on any decision, that might be considered.

I received a call about this actually about one of their shooting locations. Should be shooting in June.

Remember when the local talk radio genius said no one in Winnipeg will ever pay *average* NHL ticket prices? I guess that's true. They arent average at all!

Stanley has more upside but is certainly a project.

Im not sure "she started it" will work if I get caught nailing my subordinates in my office.

I think the excuse on the Helle one was, it was clearly a penalty but you cant review penalties. But common sense tells us that a stick across the face is obviously going to interfere with a goalie. The problem with the Nashville one is, we already see goalies over-sell "contact". In a scrum like that, make sure you "move" to sell interference. It was a scrum that happens all the time. To me, if the ref doesnt whistler it dead when he loses sight of the puck and the stick action is at the puck and not a very clear "shoveling" of the goalie into the crease, its not enough to over-turn. I imagine the debate in the war room was "well he didnt *really* interfere illegally but technically he did so lets overturn it). Common sense tells us thats a good goal. They can fix this by getting rid of video review for gialie interference and leaving it up to the on-ice officials to call. That cuts out the plays that require super slow motion and 15 angles to determine what happened. Yes, the refs will miss the occasional call but the human factor is the same for all teams. Subjective examination in such forensic ways is worse.

The scouting report on Cederholm is that he has virtually no offensive upside but skates well, is good 1 on 1, very aggressive, impressive reach and strong leadership skills. Might not make the NHL but seems worth the effort. Could be the next (but larger) Chiarot.

Well she was a victim in a way. Consensual but major power disparity between her as an intern and Clinton as the President.

The only thing I'd say about this, last time Brock's contract expired (three years ago I believe, same time frame, after WM), Dana was 100% certain Brock was returning and it was leverage for Brock to get a good deal with WWE. He had scheduled a live interview to announce his return to UFC and ended up announcing his permanent retirement instead and return to WWE. And of course, he ended up fighting in UFC anyway, while under WWE contract. So you never know til you know.

Absolutely!! So easy since she doesnt age. She can be there for everything. Of course, the idea that the female hero would be the best part of the DC franchise would have been laughed out of WB's boardroom a couple years ago.

Interesting. Doing Jason Todd makes sense but again if you’re going to do a story from the past why did you cast an older actor to play Batman in the first place? It’s not that big a deal since it wouldn’t be *that* much in the past but why not tell the stories in a linear pattern rather then having a new Batman and then going back in time

Disappointed they dropped the Lewisnki/Clinton story. I would looking forward to that. If they wanted to be fair to Lewinski, they could have brought her on as a consultant. I guess maybe she didnt want to take part. Crime Story has been a bit troubled. I hope it continues. The first two seasons were great. Katrina is next. There are plenty of crimes they could cover. Casey Anthony would be an interesting one.

Looking at this goalie interference call in Nashville, originally I thought it was a good call (no goal) because the Preds player stuck his stick into the goalie and physically moved him, thus allowing the puck to spring free. Watching it again, Im not so sure. The stick was into the "leg" area (where the puck was) and was an attempt to dig at the puck. The fact the goalie moved is because the puck was under his pad and that was the area the Preds player was "digging at". He wasnt trying to shove the goalie out of the way. So if the rule is "ANY contact = interference", okay but thats going to result in a lot of calls (and penalties). If you use common sense (ie. deciding intent) thats a good goal. Plus, is the ref not supposed to whistle the play dead when he loses sight of the puck? Clearly he lost sight since it was UNDER the goalie. So the ref let it go. Why? Because its a scrum with players digging at it. Happens all the time, puck comes free, goal voila. Ref should have whistled the play dead. Because he didn't and because there was no evidence of intentional interference, its a good goal.
