I see two possibilities. Maybe three. Their crimes end up being something which trump decides not to pardon for fear of public backlash. I doubt he’d care though. Or trump takes his sweet time and mueller delivered impeachable offenders to the AG resulting in Conhressional action before he has a chance to pardon anyone. The parallel New York investigation results on state charges for which they cannot be pardoned. So they have to flip anyway....or go to jail in New York.

Kuli was a talented but played for an awful team. He was a great target by Winnipeg who got him for fair market value but a shorter term than other D. They certainly banked on his poor season being an aberration and they were correct. My recollection is both were the Jets' prime targets (maybe Elliott was in there too as he was linked to Winnipeg for awhile).
